I just bought the car and fitted it with all available upgrades. The grand tally for the purchase was 398,450 credits. Tuning to come soon. I aim to take this car to the Historic Cup. If anyone has done work on this car already, feel free to add your data/comments here! đź‘Ť

Yes, I repainted it with the same Forest Green that I originally purchased it with. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm taking it to photomode for sure! đź‘Ť

One of the most important tips to remember is that when you get into the starting grid, you MUST start ahead or right with the Toyota 7.

On Cd'A, I won with the Chapparal and GT40 starting 1-2, and the Toyota 7 was in 7th. I managed to nab first place on the first turn, and did everything I could to hold it. I drove pretty conservatively, checking the rear-view often. I only had to block the Chapparal once and that was after making a sloppy final turn on the 4th lap.

1. Start ahead of the Toyota
2. Get to the front by the first turn
3. Drive a clean race and don't get greedy
4. Check your rear-view!

Follow that and the race is yours.

I have a few questions:

1.) Where do you get the car, in the used car lot?
2.) Are the values for your camber and toe at default?
3.) Is it any good with these settings in B-Spec?

Slam the 2J racecar into turn one on the rear quarter panel, if you spin him out, it puts him out of the race and puts you in third, from there you can handle the other cars. It's a cheap shot, but hey, that other car is a little overqualified to be in that race anyways.

I think this is the only way indeed. For me it was, thanks! :)

Great setup. My previous setup was only getting me the silver. Went to this setup and added just a little camber out of personal preference and nailed the gold first shot.

Thanks.

FYI- Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RM '69 race mod. turns the car into a '68 with '69 tail light. Look at the panels. Only had them in '67 and '68. I'm love it I always liked the '68's better than any other year. Had one once lost love. On top of that the race mod. sounds amazing.

Yes, all* Premium cars can be found in the dealerships đź‘Ť

I have upgraded and tweaked this car to my driving style, I'm gonna come back and post the tune tomorrow morning. (I'm at work right now)

*There might be a few exceptions (i.e. X2010 doesn't come into dealership until level 30, etc.)

This worked fantastic!! Thanks:tup: The two races in the expert historic cup are really tough and there are almost no margin for errors. I agree with others, that it doesn't make it easier if the Toyota 7 starts in the one of the first 6 places.

I started out with the Lamborghini, but I also had the ´69 Camaro in my garage, så I tried it out in stead, and with morpheus' settings it worked brilliantly.

This trully worked. It was very hard in Deep Forest but resetting until the Toyota was in the back field. I won. It was no contest in Coute de Azure when I barge in first place after the first turn. Thanks morpheus for the setting.
