Welcome to GST Magazine's CenAm Tour. This series takes you through the Southwest United States, the hot desserts of Mexico, and the outer rainforests of South America and back again.
RULES: Here are the rules of the CenAm Tour:
-Absolutely NO cheating! (See OLR FAQ in this forum)
-Try to drive clean. As in real life, you'll always make mistakes or slip up and go off course.
-Chicane cutting: Go ahead. There are a few chicanes that I've noticed in the selected tracks and I don't feel like policing people about cutting chicanes.
RACING: Racing is done on the arcade disc, Road Race, Normal Difficulty for the specified amount of laps.
CHOOSING A CAR: To choose your car, there will be a reverse draft. Two people cannot choose the same car unless on the same team (See "TEAMS"). You will keep the car you choose for the duration of the season. The draft will take place from Monday, April 22 to Friday, May 3 at 12 midnight PT. The draft will be held at Grindalwald in a Dodge Viper GTS with all the cumpolsary mods (See "CARS AND MODS").
TESTING SESSION: Before the draft round, there will be a car testing round. This will last untill April 21. You do not have to test but if you do, the test track is Leguna Seca. Please submit your testing results by replying to this thread in this fashion:

SCORING: Instead of awarding points for placing well, your times are accumulated over the course of the season. This is why it is important that you do not miss a single race. If you do, you will be given the worst time out of all the racers who did participate by one second. For example, if the racer who finishes last in a race with a total time of 12:04.423 and you did not compete in that race, your time will be a 12:05.423. In the end, the racer who took the least amount of accumulated time to finish the entire season wins.
TEAMS: You can always race by yourself, but having a team mate with you is always more fun. Here's how a team works. For every race round, including the draft round, each member drives the same car. The team's times are averaged to get a total team time. If one member of a team does not finish, however, his time will be counted as a DNF (See scoring). So you might want to make sure your team mate finishes. There is a limit of two people per team.
