in arcade mode in which you play 2player in you can unlock up too 34 tracks by completing each track by winning in first place playing on easy and just do that with every track you you get 5 more i think every time you beat the first 5. Also if you beat hard mode you unlock cars like 20 or so and if you beat hard before you beat easy it gives you the tracks also to save time.
