2-Player improved?

That's too much to ask. But as long as they don't take away the split-screen, I'm good. There is something about sitting next to a friend and enjoying the game together that never gets old. Online is good, but it doesn't replace that experience.

My main wish for splitscreen would be AI opponents. Without them races tend to be very boring. I would easily sacrifice weather and time of day for opponents.

I don't think the game can handle 2 players and a load of AI. Ever played Cape ring on split screen? Try pitting, screen tear to the max!

They said engine is imporved and extracting whatever they can from PS3. So may be some improvement.

Nothing quite beats sitting next to a friend and playing whatever.

It's not about if you alone like it, it's about playing with a friend or someone of your family on the very same console.

You can hardly do this on full screen if you don't use this 3D similar technic, which requires special glasses and usually halves the framerate.

hoping split screen tools don't have to be accessed only through the options in the main menu, and SMOKE!

If we can drive any car we choose for 2P split screen, my dad and I will be a happy camper. I hate adding a car to my favorites then going back to 2P to select it.

Yeah I know what it is about the point is that I would think with the ability to race online that split screen would not be appealing to very may people at all. I know I have did it in the past and had some fun but have always hated it. To distracting being able to see the other players view and having your view cut to 1/2 screen.

Then again all my friends who race have their own console so we can either race online or if they want to pop over they just bring the console and network it in. 1000% better experience than split screen.

If reduced to a single console I would rather take turns and watch while the other person races rather than suffer through a race in split screen.

Me and my older brother use to race split screen alot back in GT4. So much fun, i remember when i used to but my memory card into the second slot of the ps2 and i will pick my cars and he will pick his. On gt5 me and him didn't do split screen at all, the only time we race on split screen was when we first got the game.

So much fun, i remember i use to put my memory card into the second slot of the ps2 and i will pick my cars and he will pick his. Main track we raced at was at test course. On gt5 we did one race on split screen and that was when we first got the game which was 3 years ago lol.

Anyway one thing they can improve for split screen is adding some AI cars. Not 12 cars, but at least 4 or so.
