2002 Ford Focus FR100 Concept

I was bored and lookin around Fast-Autos.net and found this. that 2002 Ford Focus FR100 Concept. Only, it looks like an OLD.. like older than mine... F100.

Why would this be called a Focus? or did the site mess up?

I think the web site got things a bit confused. The picture portrays the FR100: a pick-up concept, based on the 1953 model. 5.0L Cammer engine, blah, blah, blah.

There also exist separte FR200 Focus and FR500 Mustang concepts.

FR500 Mustang:

Mostly, it all seems like SEMA stuff. Nothing truly of substance; mostly marketing fluff aimed at the "youth segment". More Alpine RSX than Vanquish 20-20.

I'm sorry but that is just horrible, why try and design your own focus can't they just bring the RS to America?

I hope that FR200 stays a concept.

The "best" cars at SEMA are not for driving. They're carpet queens. The most any of them can really do is go fast in a straight line. The brakes are more for show than actually functioning well.

A good analogy is your average contractor: If he's got clean, expensive clothes, a brand new Milwaukee drill, and tools that sparkle, don't expect him to know anything other than how to add up the price sheet.
