When you're on the other site, right-click on the image and select "Copy Image Location". Then come back here, and make a post that looks like this:

So, can we assume a class-leading 345bhp and 375 lb-ft of torque, like in the Ram 5.7?

Im hoping some figures around there... I know roughly that the car is probally going to weigh around 4000-4200 lbs, and thats a huge engine to have in that car. The 300M right now has 255 hp in its V6, so they will be able to put out some huge numbers. I havnt been able to find any yet. I work at a Chrysler Dealership so I am highly anticipating driving this car since the Crossfire and Prowler are glorified minivans..

It is a huge engine, but the output isn't that stunning - the best car in the mid-luxury sedan class is the Infiniti M45, and it uses a 340bhp 4.5L V8 which gets 333lb-ft of torque.

The 300M right now has 255 hp in its V6, so they will be able to put out some huge numbers. I havnt been able to find any yet.

I wouldn't call it huge numbers, though it is a wonderful package. Though it is my duty to inform you that the 300M gets just 250bhp out of its V6 - 'Special' trim (with the standard 17" wheels and 6-CD player) is the one that gets the 255bhp.

Its numbers are only okay - both trims do 0-60 in about 7.4-7.6 seconds.

I work at a Chrysler Dealership so I am highly anticipating driving this car since the Crossfire and Prowler are glorified minivans..

How can they be glorified minivans? They're, um, sports cars.

Because the Prowler is a slow waste of money that has the same engine in it as my dads Voyager, and if you have ever driven one, you will quickly notice that the auto's shift way too soon and the car boggs down to a slow crawl....and the Crossfire has a poor 215 hp V6 that cant push itself into traffic, with a fully loaded price of 40,000... I would rather spend 10,000 less and get 100 more hp and 4 wheels pushing me along..
The 300M has 250hp and the 300M Special Edition has 255hp... they are slow, I wasnt saying they are a fast car...

The Prowler actually used a 214bhp 3.5L V6 in 1997. From 1999 to 2002, it used a 253bhp 3.5L V6. Chrysler minvans, Voyager included, have never used a 3.5L unit, and if they did, I can guarantee it would have nowhere near 253bhp.

The 1997 Prowler did 0-60 in about 6.9 seconds; the 1999-2002 Prowler did it in about 6.1 seconds - not exactly a slow crawl.

And finally, all Prowlers were standard with an AutoStick transmission, so even if the 'autos shift way too soon', you could always use manual transmission mode and shift on your own.

and the Crossfire has a poor 215 hp V6 that cant push itself into traffic, with a fully loaded price of 40,000...

The Crossfire's 215bhp 3.5L V6 actually does 0-60 in 6.6 seconds with the five-speed automatic transmission and 0-60 in 6.4 seconds with the manual. The base price is $33600, and there are no options, so I'm not sure exactly where you get this 'fully loaded at $40,000' crap, nor am I sure where you get this 'can't push itself into traffic' crap. Quit making things up.

I would rather spend 10,000 less and get 100 more hp and 4 wheels pushing me along..

You mean an Impreza STi, which is actually $2600 less, and has 85bhp more? Or were you referring to some 315bhp AWD car with a $23600 base price?

The 300M has 250hp and the 300M Special Edition has 255hp... they are slow, I wasnt saying they are a fast car...

You said it would be able to put out 'some huge numbers.'

Just saw a Crossfire up close today in a parking lot for the first time.

👍

I liked the shape of it, the engine does sound a little weak for my tastes, but it definatly caught my eye.

Yea the crossfire is an eye catching car, I drove a black 5 speed autostick which wasnt very fast, you could break torque it and try and get it to go, but it couldnt even break the rear tires loose. Than the dealership got a white 6 speed which that one is a little quicker, still the accelleration needs to be better, it has a top speed of around 150, but from 70 and up, you might as well pull out a pillow cuz its gona be a while. Plans in 2004 are to supercharge it, which than that car will be quick and something worth buying...

Personally, I can't wait for the Dodge Magnum. It's not the most pretty thing, but a ridiculously powerful Hemi stuffed into a rather cool wagon at a price of $33k sounds like an awesome car. 👍

The new 300C looks great too, aside from the rear tail lights, which don't really seem to fit into the rest of the general shape.

No. They're aimed at entirely different markets, priced differently with different engines, and are on a different replacement schedule. It's a wholly different car, and they will be sold side-by-side, similar to Stratus and Intrepid except on a luxurious scale.

Not necessarily. N sounds really bad. Then again...I dont think I have a clue what Im talking about.

In 1955, Chrysler came out with the 300C. Every new model after that got the 300 moniker, with a letter, in alphabetical order, excluding some uncommon ones (J,K,O to name a few), up to the 300M, in 1997. It'd be almost normal to name the new thing 300N, but then again, i'm not DC.

Well it did have a 300hp Hemi (the first ever Hemi, i think) so yeah, it was probably pretty quick, at the time.

Shouldn't it be, if we go by Chrysler's history, the 300N?

The 300C is going to be the beginning of the "300-series," which seems to me to be aimed at the Infiniti M45/Lexus GS430 crowd. The problem is they can't have a 300M and a '300-series' seperately. And plus, I don't think Chrysler has either the money or the ability to stick to any project calling for a '__-series,' since that would imply a few different models.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, but only slightly.
