Yeah, you read the title right, Dodge is brining back the Charger in 2006. Dodge's research team is going to bring it bach and use the same platform as the 300C. It has same nose as the Magnum and 300C. The stand are motor will be a 3.5 liter V6, while the optional motor will be none other than the 5.7 liter Hemi V8. The new Charger looks like a sedan version of the Magnum Wagon. I will scan the images of the car soon.

:odd: I hope that's not it... after that great older concept (4dr.) and the fact that looks like a "dodged" up crossfire...

Those are just renders, I know a lot of people who could have modeled that. Where did the pictures/info come from? I dont think it looks bad, but new dodge/chrysler vehicles are kinda blah..

I don't know where the charger is but... This is damn fine!

I seriously doubt it'll look like that – It's really not in sync with the rest of their new lineup (especially the multitude of sharp creases with very few rounded areas, and the gigantic greenhouse near the back – Chrysler and Dodge have been going for the choptop design, not the "let's make a ginormous rear quarter window" design).

If thats what it'll look like I won't like one bit, well the front is quite aggrsive but the back just looks too ''iffy'' for me, the wheelbase looks to long and the windows are messed.

just look at the cover of car and driver. it's a green image of what the charger is going to look like.

Uhm, I knew this a while ago. Like, back in April, because according to rules, you must base your design off a production car. Still, It'll be interesting to see how this design conforms to the common template.

It's not.... it's already confirmed the Charger is a four-door. Go pick up the latest copy of Car and Driver, they have a closer look. It's not on the SLK platform, either. It's on the Magnum and 300N platform.

What does Hemi power even mean.
It means the engine has a hemispherical chambers. The head area of the chamber is rounded, instead of flat. "Hemi" engines were first used in tractors, then airplanes before cars.

A pity, then, that the Mopar 354 ci Hemi's heads have just as much hemispherical nature as a LS1 or 4.6 Modular motor's heads.

The tag line is BS in my opinion. But if it sells cars, it is doing its job.

The new Hemi is 345ci, not 354.

And yes, it is tagline BS. They're not lying, the engine does have hemispherical heads (well, save for the modifications necessary for the second spark plug per cylinder), but it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of difference.

But Chrysler was smart about their marketing (for once). Hemi is just a name, but a name sticks in people's minds.

:odd: what the hell is that!? :dopey: let's just slap a Mitsubishi Galant rear on a dodge magnum and call it a Charger.
Yeah, and it has a lot of Cadillac CTS and Ford Mustang writen all over it, too. What the hell happened to the 1999 Concept Dodge Charger? That thing was awesome, except fot the front. Why didn't they make that car?

Ughh, it looks like a totally riced up chrysler 300c, with a magnum front end slapped onto it, I say kill it.

Riced up? Dude the black hood and Limelight Green... or was that Sublime Green (one was Plymouth's version).. is totally retroristic of the old Dodge Chargers! Here:

eh... it's not a question of "riced up", It's just a damn 300c or hemi with the same iconic stuff from the "classic" thrown on it... :dopey: I can paint my '88 corolla SR5 white (exept the hood, my car is black), maybe that tofu writing crap on it and call it a "hachi Roku" too. But will is still be an 86?
