I am so glad I’m not in the market for this – this is one dreadfully disjointed ugly piece of sin.

Note to Honda: Fire your stupidhead design department. Then steal Acura’s people.

...Well, it kinda reminds me of Churchill's Bulldog, and that should be a good thing. But this? Seriously, this is a HUGE step in the wrong direct. Atleast the RDX looks better, costs only a bit more, and is presumably more fun to drive as well.

Holy ****ing ****...as if the thing couldn't get any uglier?! Dear lord...at least the new RAV4 looks lightyears better than the previous gen...Honda's taken a step back here. No matter what drivetrain and options this thing's got...it's so ugly maybe no one will even buy it...except for the Honda loyalists.

*Supresses gag reflex*
Oh my... That is as ugly, if not uglier, than sin. I don't know what the designers were smoking when they designed that front end, and the window line and roof line don't match!!! The whole vehicle is rounded off, save for the front end!
It has also grown, I might add. They'll have to debut another whole line of small-utes just to replace the original CRV market.

:nervous:

Ummm... Take a look right between the roofline and the C-pillar and you'll finally learn that no, the Daihatsu Midget is not the worst looking car in the world...THIS IS.

:yuck:

Is that a picture of Subaru B9 Tribeca, after it was hit by a bus?

I do like the headlights. Very nice. 👍 No comment on rest of the vehicle.

That's aliving example of "design by committee". Group one wanted a futuristic design, Group two wanted a retro design, and Group three wanted an evolution of the current CRV.

Group one got the lower grille and window line.

Group two got the hood and roof.

Group three got the headlights, windshield and lower bumpers.

They all lose.

Looking at this car in pieces, you can imagine how nice it would look (and yes, many details look good in isolation) if only it were two separate vehicles...

The front looks crap, infact, worse than a Ssangyong.
Why can't deginers make cars which at least don't look crap, I doubtr anyone will want to be seen in one of those.

The radiator is under the badge! On normal cars, there's a radiator with a badge on it, what where Honda thinking?!

Man ... I would take a Subie B9 instead
the front is very questionable no matter how much time I can digest
btw it is nice for Honda taking out the spare tire at the back
the back door seems no longer open to the side 👍

from the last 2 CRV, Honda put the rear door supports outside the vehicle
that looks really cheap and ugly

The C-pillar reminds me another Honda minivan they put in asian market few years ago

...Awww, the Subie B9 isn't THAT bad...

Back to the CRV, I think the big turnoff is that awkward frontal area. There isn't a cohesive look to it, as it looks as though they just threw shapes on the front.
