What are your thoughts? Mine are simply

Wow, I like that! Cars like this often end up looking ugly as they have to compromise for performance reasons but this is just awesome!

From the thread title I expected a prototype of the next production Corvette called the "Corvette Daytona."

I'm glad they've altered the rules to allow these things to look good for once. I can see the Daytona Prototype in it, but it looks great. 👍

The rear of the car seems a little unfinished, almost like they looked at the sheer amount of work done on the front, said a collective "Meh" and half-assed the rear. It is only a prototype model though, they might improve it a bit before final production.

I feel sort of odd to say I think reverse of what I've heard. I think the front looks sort of strange, but the back looks cool!

Interesting, to say the least. I kinda like it. I don't think it resembles a Corvette all that much, though. Performance should be pretty awesome, I guess. Let's hope that Chevrolet is going to put it to good use.

I think it could be recognisable as a 'vette. Just look at the lights, rear window and rear lights.

Wow! I'm surprised so many different opinions on various different cars. I'm with Ryan. There is allot of Corvette styling there. The front grill and fog lights are very similar. It also has similar side vents just behind the front wheels. The body lines on the center of the hood is pretty much the same and the rear window and tail lights are also very similiar to a street Vette. The side and overall shape of the rear are very different though so I can see where some of the comparisons come from but I still think it looks very Vette-ish.

It's definitely a Vette, but I don't know... something about it just doesn't feel good. Don't get me wrong, I love Vettes, but somehow this doesn't cut it for me. I think the cockpit is too narrow for aesthetic reasons. I bet it goes like a rocket though :D
