First off, mods feel free to lock this if you feel this discussion could be in one of the other football threads, I just feel it would be better in this thread. This will be used for discussing transfers and rumours, as they can get very complicated.

A couple of rumors I heard....

Real Madrid will offer 30 million + Fábio Coentrão + Gonzalo Higuain to Tottenham for Gareth Bale.

Athletico Madrid will bid 40 million for Luis Suárez, presuming Radamel Falcao leaves.

Napoli will compete with Tottenham for Leandro Damião if Edinson Cavani leaves.

Another Spurs one(sorry :guilty:), they will offer Adebayor + 15 million to Zenit St. Petersburg for Hulk.
 
Howard Webb's contract is up at Manchester United, with Manchester City eager to bring him across to the other side of the greater metropolitan area.

Rumor mill only, but I read similar. Not that he'd be staying there but that Monaco was a jumper for Falcao to move over to Real Madrid. It'd be a nightmare if Atletico Madrid sold their top striker to city rival Real Madrid.

Yeah you're right, Kinda reminds me of the Mascherano and Tevez deal to West Ham.
 
Mourinho in charge of Chelsea when they have 100 million to spend when they already have players like Oscar, Hazard, Mata and Demba Ba is a truly frightening prospect!
 
And hes also looking to hijack Man uniteds attempt to bring in ronaldo, and instead bring him to chelsea. If that happens...
 
Liverpool looking at Kolo Toure on a free transfer. Strange deal if it does go ahead though. New owners looking to invest in youth, so they go and buy someone who will now become the clubs oldest player on their wage bill....
 
In a way i hope it happens, we have the youngest squad in the league, we need that experience and someone to replace Carra.

If he's free, then I don't see the problem in taking him. We need stability in the back line right now, seeing how Skrtel isn't in his best form, and we've lost Carragher.

Hopefully West Ham and Carroll can agree on terms. He's a good player, but he's just not right for Liverpool.
 
Exactly, alot of people on the Liverpool website are saying things like dont get him its pointless he wont be good for us.This really annoys me, because if he is free then get him we need the depth, and you cnt really say that he wont be good because he hasnt plyed for us yet. And also look at BR other signings, so i have faith.


Also Fullham have officialy signed Derek Boateng and Fernando Amorebieta, both on free transfers. A couple of great signings there, made 100X better by being free.

That article says Barca signed him for as little as 28 million Euros? Is it just me or does that seem like peanuts for someone like Neymar?

He's never proven himself in major competition, so nobody really knows if he's even worth it, even though he's one of the best talents in the world.

I was expecting something to be announced. For me, the deal was done about 6-7 months ago.
