What's your goal on 2014? Its already new year here in Indonesia :D .
I just hope I get better at anything perhaps. I can't think much further. I'm still sleepy.

1) Threshold goals for both tax sheltered investment accounts as well as taxable accounts to achieve at the end of 2014.
2) Unpack, paint the house, add crown molding, add some lighting to the kitchen, buy TVs, maybe buy an NSX, get settled.
3) Be productive with work.
4) Spend an absolute minimum of 2 days skiing

1. Get a job as a bilingual tutor for children, much more dignified than call center agent and much better payed. Leaves time for college as well.
2. Make it or break it at college, decide once and for all if I'm gonna finish my degree in Philosophy or not.
3. After getting said job, DUMP ALL THE MONEYZ ON THE MAZDA!!! :D
4. Keeping my lovely, lovely girlfriend.

I don't need a 'a new year' to have new goals and targets. When I want to accomplish something, I go for it whether it's new year, winter, spring, summer or autumn.

:D

1. Get accepted and go on an exchange to France for the 2014-15 academic year.
2. Weigh 200 pounds by May 1, and pick a timeframe to get down to 170 pounds afterwards (currently about 220).
3. Become a fluent French speaker

1. Get my license
2. Go to a motorsports race, specifically the Indy 500 and/or the Pirelli World Challenge race at Road America
3. Get a 21 or higher composite score on the ACT
4. Learn to swim

1. Finish my instrument pilot rating
2. Graduate with my Associate degree
3. Transfer to the Ohio State University
4. Continue training for my commercial pilot license

Didn't meet many of last year's goals, to my knowledge (I seem to recall a similar thread to this last year). But I did a lot of other cool stuff which made up for it. So my list for this year is probably similar to last:

1. Get myself a car
2. Get myself an apartment
3. Have an article printed in a proper paper mag, not just online
4. Minimise personal possessions. I live surrounded by stuff I don't use - less of that would be nice
5. Do more road trips

Most of those should be achievable. Getting an article printed is probably most difficult - very time-dependent. Car is easiest. Apartment is a timing thing. Road trips can be big or small. And reducing the crap I surround myself with will be an interesting exercise in letting go of stuff I really don't need but tend to hang onto regardless.

1) Try to be happier this year. Last year was a real rollercoaster of emotions for me personally and I could do without another year like that.
2) Get a new car. Did that one earlier than I thought!

Thanks to all your GTP friends whom made you buy a Porsche 997.

These two. Especially 4. My room is a disaster of too many things, much of it from my childhood.

Yep. It's stupid stuff with me too, like old school assignments and stuff. It just takes up room and I should have got rid of it all years ago. Industrial strength shredding machine is required, I think...

1. Get my life together at least a little bit (social, economical etc.)
2. 100kg benchpress, 130kg deadlift, 120kg squat.
3. Try to be a little less miserable.

1. Work less
2. Save more/Spend less
3. Do medium to long distance ruck march.
4. Make it to one car event during the year.
