Hi everyone! Welcome to the 2024 International Rally Championship.
We are looking forward to having an another season of the Rally Championship! This idea of creating a rally series started when I was competing into a rallycross championship on GT6. That took me to host a WRC championship, however, seeing that it was complicated, it ended on being a failure. But while my old PS3 was broken and that I was still waiting for a new one, I already was planning to revive the idea of doing my rally championship and make it sucessfull, as there aren't very much rally championships which are sucessfull.
In September 2017, Pedro Harsk has stepped down as a GORO steward which ended the cooperation between GORO and GRC. As a result, the Rally Senegal was the last GT6 Rally Round under the banner.
Since then, it became International Rally Championship from 2018 onwards and it was also moved to Gran Turismo Sport on PS4, where it remained for 5 seasons. After 5 seasons, IRC moved to Gran Turismo 7 and 2023 was the first year that IRC has been hosted in GT7.
The 2024 IRC will be contested with 11 classes, ranging from Gr. B Rally Cars to N100 Road Cars. This season will also mark the return of Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak '98, Renault 8 Gordini, Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally Car '86, Toyota Celica GT-FOUR ST205 Rally Car and Volkswagen IDR. Since the establishment of new era of GRC in 2017, the Race Cars, Vision GT Cars, Prototypes and Supercars have been banned from competing on rally rounds. This year also marks of Trophy Truck Pick-ups competing on a rally championship for a sixth time. There will be 15 rounds, with 5 rounds being in Asphalt, Gravel and snow each.
With that, the rally championship will become more realistic and fair without having to worry about the Race Cars.

Enjoy!
