2024 Touring Car Thread - BTCC, TCR, and more.Touring Cars

Potentially but it seems a bit difficult as they don't have any TBLs
Unless the One return doesn't work out.

Alliance Racing - 4
EXCELR8 Motorsport - 4
Speedworks Motorsport - 4
West Surrey Racing - 4
Power Maxed Racing - 2
Restart Racing - 2
One Motorsport - 2
Un-Limited Motorsport - 2

Which is least likely to come to fruition?

He didn't do much last season - but then he never was going to do with Team HARD. Has a pretty successful, if short, racing career outside of BTCC, so will be interesting to see how he fares in competitive machinery. Gives WSR a strong line-up now.

Had flashes of excellent pace at times. Will be interesting to see how he goes in a works car for sure.

Oof, but I like each venue for these cars. A possible Macau event(Round 5), will be interesting to see how the local racers go. However, seems like an expensive travel bill.

2025 TCR Australia Series Calendar
Round 1 – ITM Taupō Super 440, New Zealand | April 11 – 13 (TCR Trans-Tasman Trophy)
Round 2 – Perth Super 440 | June 6 – 8
Round 3 – Race Winton | August 22 – 24
Round 4 – The Bend 500 | September 12 – 14 (Kumho FIA TCR World Tour)
Round 5 – TBA | November (Kumho FIA TCR World Tour)

Rounding up some rumours for BTCC 2025:

- Excelr8 want to retain Zelos, subject to funding. May assist with a drive somewhere else if he can't raise the budget for one of their seats.

- Morgan also linked with Excelr8.

- Cook likely to return to the returning One Motorsport team, who will most likely also revive their old Hondas.

- Lloyd likely to return from Porsches to partner Smiley at Restart.
