NY Giants co-owner Steve Tisch has some, I'll say, 'heavy involvement' with Epstein in 2013. OOF. I'm glad I shop at Home Depot

Robert Kraft got dinked as well IIRC, making a certain team's possible Superb Owl win rather awkward

Tisch is Loews, not Lowes.

Mr Massage parlor got denied the HOF this year too. Well they got one right and one wrong

Now it seems we've hired an OC; Matt Nagy. I guess thats okay since he is more of a culture guy. Plus Andy Reid was doing the playcalling, good or bad, its hard to determine how much of the offensive slide the Chiefs made recently has to do with him. I guess I'm just neutral on this hire.

It looks like the Super Bowl is on Channel 5 this year in the UK, but I can't seem to get it on either my PS4 or PS5...

PS5 doesn't appear to support the My5 app, and the PS4 doesn't appear to have live TV on the My5 app...

Anyone else able to confirm this?

I reckon it's a moot point for me anyway - there's virtually no chance I'll be able to stay up for it, but I can probably watch it live on my iPad. There's surprisingly little coverage/hype about the Super Bowl this year for some reason.

Is it a later start this year with it being on the West coast? I know kick-off is 11.30pm GMT, so it's going on 'til well past 3am.

Perhaps 5 haven't being promoting as much as the Beeb or C4 used to do? - or maybe they have but since they have nothing else of interest on, i just haven't caught it.

I also think world events are over-shadowing things at the moment and the US isn't flavour of the month right now because of it, so that may have some bearing.

I will no doubt do my usual trick of starting to watch it but it's a constant struggle at that time to stay awake. The Seahawks are my second favoured team, so i have more interest in this year's than usual.

How are you feeling about this, @kjb? I'm not sold on him being able to help develop a young QB. But we'll see.

Right now I think it is okay. He did well as an OC. He was OC for a long time and had some good offenses in San Diego & Philly. I think he is Josh McDaniels much better as an OC than a head coach. TBH I don't think the OC was the problem last year Fields was not good except for a couple of games. Again we'll see how things go.

Yeah there’s no PS5 version of the My5 app. Apart from that legacy PS4 support it’s mostly just mobile devices and smart TVs/sticks now.

I’ve noticed the lack of hype for this one. I guess it’s the lack of megastar players or popstar girlfriends. All the talk is about some bunny.

Probably won’t stay up to watch this one, but as ever hoping the Pats lose.

Holy ****... this is a major loss for my Eagles.

O line coach Jeff Stoutland is out. Most likely because new OC Sean Mannion wants his own coaches. Coach Stout ( as we call him ) has been with the Eagles for 13 years, and helped take the team to 3 super bowls winning 2. And also he was instrumental shaping the careers of potential Hall of Fame players Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson

Hall of Fame class for 2026.

Larry Fitzgerald.
Drew Brees.
Luke Kuechly.
Adam Vinatieri.
Roger Craig.

Felt like Kuechly should have been a first ballot HoF'er last year but I'm just glad he got recognized. Tetairoa McMillan getting Offensive Rookie of the Year too. Pretty good night for the Panthers.

NFL has always been notoriously weak when it comes to player suspensions for serious incidents. Interesting to see what they do in this case. Dude's career should be over, really. But in reality he'll probably get like six games.

Remind me to never, ever live in Miami-Dade county.

Well, this game when pretty much how I expected. That Seattle defense is just too, too good.

Pretty uneventful game for the most part. Does anyone else think the Pats shouldn't have been in the SB? Congrats Seattle fans!

The thing that bothered me the most about this is he made a conscious decision to get his car and crash into his girlfriend's car when she was going to the police station to report him. To top it off he led the police on chase in his car.
Just a few days before his mother talked about how proud of him she was and what a good man he had become.
I did a little digging and his previous arrest was not battery but driving 65 in a 35 mph zone. No license, insurance or registration. Not sure why he snapped like that

Good result for Seahawks and deserved too. Had it not been for Gonzalez getting himself seemingly everywhere, the half time score for Seattle would have been even healthier.

I even managed to stay awake until the end!

Gonzalez must have saved at least 2 TDS probably more. He played an outstanding game.

Stayed up until 3am watching this spanking. Well done Seattle. Defence wins every time.
