Now to go back out and pray nothing else is broken

and it doesn't get taken out again by a reckless Peugeot.

#52 Young driver AMR Aston up 2 second in class. The Saleen is running well:tup:

Kudos to the Corvette team for that super quick repair job.:)👍

Finally that was a very quick repair for the amount of damage.

7 laps down from the lead GT2 car and 5th in class. still 6 hours to go anything can happen.

Those eurosport commentators didn't know that they were on air

Do you mean the guys on 24 minutes?, they've done that pretty much every programme. Normal coverage is on Eurosport 2 by the way.

Even if the #64 Corvette fails to finish, that car and Corvette Racing is still one of my winners for this race. Awesome job by this team, Corvette never backing down. The cars may be yellow, but NOT the team. Awesome!

Completely agree with you there John, that last line really does sum the team up.👍

Hero's of the race are easily AMR, a proper V12 Prototype and never backing down despite really having no chance. Bring on next year for them, albeit with a V8.

EDIT: To paraphrase a tyre company, I like to say this about Corvette: America is nothing without Europe. (Their drivers)

LOL, the commentators are laying into that Poogeot as they call it, saying how the driver was staying on for another stint to see who else he could spin off the track. (Getting Speed TV coverage in Australia).

The corvette boys did an awesome job. Its already back on race pace . Just ran a 4:02.

I would count JLOC in the group of teams that have impressed me this weekend. I went into this weekend wondering how they even get an invite but those boys just didnt give up all race. And didnt retire in the first hour like I thought they would.

I think JLOC helped kill GT1 at Le Mans. The problem is too many of the GT1 cars were gentleman run/drive ones that weren't professional enough do a 24 hours race. Most GT1 cars retire or the driver's aren't good enough to beat the GT2 cars.

Thank god for Matech and AMR, though.
