I personally would like to see cautions in ONLY that race. I would also like to see a full grid with a Le Mans start with the three (3) safety cars along the track. I would also like to see actual Le Mans cars that ran in this year's Le Mans (make it a DLC)

Why only the Le Mans 24 hours? Why not have full course cautions with safety cars at the Nurburgring 24 hours?

And less of the DLC. Lets have it in the game to start with.

I didn't even think of that, I would also like to see it in all endurance races, but not in Beginner-Extreme (I like to race dirty)
But I do think that putting all 50+ cars from the actual Le Mans Race from the start is a bit far-fetched so they would make a very large DLC for some unGodly amount of money because people would buy it (I personally would, and I'm not a 50+ hour a week player).

The PS3 couldn't cope with a grid of that size, and I'm pretty sure it would even be a stretch for the PS4. Some PC games can cope with that number of cars, but they're not being displayed at GT's level of detail, and some will only display the nearest 20 or so.

We would need classes too. We need to be able to drive LMP2 and GTs and be allowed to go for a class win.

I think programming LMP1, LMP2, GT1 and so on for class wins and overall wins wouldn't be to tough for Polyphony, but even if there were 3 cars per class for a 12 car grid wouldn't be too bad. And I used Le Mans because it's the most well-known endurance in GT5

I think 24 cars in an enduro is manageable, and at least provides some better company in the race instead of just 12 cars.

I don't know the specifics for the PS3 graphics card or RAM, I also have no clue about the PS4 or the engine GT6 will use for their graphics, all race specs will come down to the GT6 graphics engine and the RAM and graphics capability of whichever platform they launch it on.

tweaks?

They need to throw whatever they have out and start over. They're that far off.

Lets start with day and night practice sessions. Then add realistic tire wear (25 laps on one set), realistic rules (cant refuel and change tires at the same time) and a whole lot more. As it stands now GT5's 24 hour race is at best a "taster" of the real 24 hour race.

Why? The majority of the field is GT cars wich already exist in the game, all they would need to do is the body kits for those cars, tweak the car's physics and make the skins fo them, it wouldn't take a team like PD more than a week to do this. Hell it would take about a week for me to do the skins by myself and I'm a very moderately skilled amateur!

You're being daft.

He wasn't talking about skins and models, but about PS3 trying to render fifty cars on-screen at once. Notice how the game's maximum is sixteen, and how it rarely exceeds twelve? That's because the hardware can't render more than that at once.

That would be terrible. With three cars per class, realistically I would be competing directly with two other cars.
