:sly: hey guys, me and my mates started to drive the 24h's again, for the 4th time now.
reason why don't win, is standing in a topic in the main gt4.

anyway, i drove 1.5hrs straight allraedy, my mate just started.
we driving a stock 320i touring version, wich is a great looking, sounding, and performing car.

i started the race off, with a lil bit close combat between me and the falken gt-r, wich i eventually won, and taken over 1st place.(34min in the race)

unfortunatly, i made a small crash into a wall...wich i give myself a 30min penalty for.(crashed after driving 240kmh, had to brake to 125 to enter the chicane, but i got behind my brakepoint and started sliding.)

well, rest seemed to be ok and i'm running at 7.16+-, without driving the **** outha my car(shifting at slightly lower rpm's to maintain more hp for the 24h)

my mate just started and he's driving fast stints right now from 7.12.

more soon...keep those seatbelts on!! :sly:

Wow. I was driving near the 7'12 mark in the Altezza against the FALKEN GT-R and won by ~45 minutes. In other words, don't crash again! :) I admire your racing method, though. Good luck!

Can the 330i touring car be competitive with the Falken when stock??

It is on par or close to the Amuse S2000 R1 (which people have said can win), so maybe. Although I've never tested either myself.

i did a 12hr research on nurburgring with my 320i just for the settings, wich made me possible to stay in the trails of the jgtc takata nsx...i'm pushing it to the limits then btw.

yah, its pretty fun to drive it for the 24hrs, as its a nice car, great handling, great sound etc.

btw, were still on first placedoing stints from 3 laps., and the race is 164pnts.

And the myth continues. While its a nice idea to try to replicate real life engine wear considerations, i am yet to see any proof of this having any effect in GT4

Just a question about the "penalty"...what do you mean about giving yourself a 30 min. penalty? Are you stopping for 30 min. to replicate the time it would take in real life for the crew to fix the damaged car? (Please let me know.)

If that's true, you have my admiration. Such dedication to realism is extremely rare here. If it isn't enough you're trying to do the race in the 320i, you're doing this as well. My hat is off to you. Best of luck. 👍 👍

omfg, i totally forgot about this topic.

well, to be honnest, i became 2nd with 2.17 min behind.

3 last lap i slided away in the turn where the road gets slippy(it ain't tarmac in there).
tires were pretty ****ed, i had to drive slower to not lose anymore time. +-2 min delay in that lap, while the falken gtr cought me up. that with a very slow pitstop, alot of nerves and one 'off the track situation' i tried my best but...i lost.

whatever, i'm gonna try it again, with better settings.

BTW i'll post a new one, but this will be waaay better and more detailed as the part i did in here.

so cyall look out for my report.
