24hr nurburg race?

Hey guys im new here to the forums but not to the game, been playing since the 1st one came out... i was just curious if you guys could spread some light for me here, which one of the pesky's was the fast one accoring to zardoz's thread? -> https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=61921
Cuz im looking for a good endurance car for this long race. i got the minolta and the r92c but atm there just sittin in my garage looking pretty so im looking for my new work horse, and 2nd of all is the f1 worth getting? i heard it wasnt as sticky as it should be? Thanx Mike

The 24hr of the Nurburgring is completely different from
the 24hr of Le sarthe ...

You needn't a Group C car (minolta, R92CP..) you will lost
a lot of time in PIT STOP if you do this race in BSpec !!

my best cars for this race is the Maxda RX8 LM Race Car or
the BMW M3 GTR Race Car .

I did this race TWO times, in BSpec, with the mazda (the same car)
without adding POWER! I've only changed the oil and worked
on the setting !

I've done this a few times on B-Spec & I'm going to do it on A-Spec soon (maybe even my next race) as part of my complete Endurance race report. When I did it on B-Spec, all 4 times & used the Audi Le Mans Quattro on RSH/RSH tires! Surprisingly it works brilliantly.

If you want to complete the race fast & easily with no fun then use a group C car, if you want a close exciting race, JGTC cars or cars like the M3 GTR or the RX8 LM Race Car work well.

That is WAY to funny It's a 24 hour race, it's 24 hours whatever car you use. It's just easier to win in a Minolta. Reading my post again I did say fast, woops.

I did it in the BMW 320i Touring Car '03 to collect the 200 points and my 12th Formula GT. I have a race report out in this lobby called "NURB 24hr + 200p = FUN!!!" - or something like that.

If you need the setup for the car just ask. However don't attempt this race with the 320i in B-Spec... you wont stand a chance.

ah, I used the RX-7 LM Race Car. No 'upgrades' obviously, don't understand why anyone would mess up a Race Car by fitting larger turbo's anyway, still piece of cake. Only difficulty about the 24hr races are the time. I usually A-Spec 4hours or so and B-Spec the rest. so I get no a-spec points, drown me.

I have done this enduro probaby around 20 times with various cars. My car of choice would be the Honda S2000 LM with 503hp. The exhaust note is unbelievably sweet, the car handles great and its a little rocket. I like to challenge myself by using the Mitsubishi FTO LM.
