29 Miners in N.Z now presumed dead

The 29 miners in New Zealand who were trapped in their mine from an explosion have now gone through a second explosion. It is presumed that none of them would have survived the blast and all 29 have died.

Its a said day for N.Z, RIP miners.

They'd been in there since Friday; considering that I personally don't think they were even alive at the time of the second blast today - toxic gases had reached very high levels inside the mine, so the chance of the miners being alive this morning was extremely slim anyway.


RIP Pike River miners, a great tragedy for the industry and the country.

I was amazed when I read a fire could burn in there for decades, my face went from -.- to O.o!
