Hi there,

3:49.376 lap around Nurburgring Nordschleife onboard Red Bull X1 Prototype.

Using G25 wheel, manual transmission, Skid Recovery Force = On, ABS = 1, all other assists off.

Not a clean lap & missed many apexes...with a cleaner lap, I reckon sub 3:45.xxx is possible.

Not clear to me if something physical Man/Machine will take the short turns that swiftly at 415 km/H.

Top speed 454 km/h that is quite a challenge to control even in a straight line.

Probably if the guy had tweaked the gear ratios, or when an update comes and we are able to tweak gear ratios individually the time will go down further.

It's just so stupid that they spent so much time (apparently) developing this car and then they claim like it's 'the fastest car in the world' and the physics and car balance and grip are perfect. It's a video game! Did they forget this? They could have made a Civic go this fast if they wanted to. Nothing in reality could be this fast.

Thanks mate...it is one thing doing one lap wonder & beating AI races, but another thing racing against real quality racers...I'm far from mastering anything yet, very far....thought my 3:49 lap was hot, then gar529 showed a 3:29 lap...I'm back to trying to slowly knock off seconds to get close to 3:29.

But yeah, lots Insane Concentration needed for perfect Nurburgring lap, especially in X1...I'm not quite there yet.

This kinda looks like my RC racing car. Just my rc car is much faster. (i am talking scale speed now)

My car have a scale speed of 800kph and the X1 have 450kph.

a real car is scale 1:1 and my rc car is 1:10. about 60-70cm long.
