Worth noting that this almost certainly means the game is being taken down from digital download soon, as was the case with DiRT 3 and GRID earlier.

Likely a sign that server support for said games won't be available for long.

It's almost guaranteed to be an issue with the car and music licences in the game. Upholding those licenses costs money, and publishers obviously don't want to keep selling games at a loss if they're not gaining enough sales.

Damn I missed Dirt 3. Really wanted to play that game. Looks like we can expect some more free games from that humble thingy the next few days. Looking forward to that!
