Well, as a long time FAN (since I can remember) this is ofc something I wanted properly represented in a game after that brainfart of a deal.

But time cures everything so can now fully enjoy this beauty monsters.

Next step for Porsche: get the damn car numbering less confusing, PUH LEASE

Porsche has been confirmed for PC2 and GT Sport already. Cool video though. I like that factory drivers are giving real feedback for authenticity. I wish I had the car set up for playing games. WOW!

No Porsche was not confirmed only heavily hinted at. Same with the other big manufacturers.

Some nice choices which will compete well with cars already in the game - personally I'm most interested in the 935, 936 and 962.

There are many more cars which could be added as DLC or perhaps as late announcements - difficult to imagine that a 917 could be left out. I am hoping for the 917 in long and short tail together with a couple of early 911's - perhaps one in Rallycross spec to compete with the RS1600 Escort RX which at the moment has no competitor. I believe Vic Elford won the first ever RX race in a 911 at Lydden Hill.

Interested to see what's in the Ferrari list - hopefully period correct competitors for cars already in the game and in the Porsche list.

yeah i would love to know as well, Project Cars 2 would have a great lineup of lmp1s if the 919 was in. Maybe for le mans weekend they will reveal it.

I think you are right Theo - I am guessing that there will be some big reveals around the time of the 2017 Le Mans (17 - 18 June). Hopefully the 919 and 917 and maybe some classic and modern LM cars from other manufacturers - I would like a Ferrari 330 P4 to go with the Ford Mark 4 in PC1 and also a 512 to go up against the 917 which as probably the most famous and iconic racing Porsche of all time surely has to be in the game (well, I hope!).

It's Project CARS not Project Porsche 9 is a fair proportion of the announced car count for me, there are plenty of other manufacturers...

Seeing as though Assetto Corsa has a huge range of incredibly well represented Porsches I am most interested in the 1978 936 Le Mans car as we don't have it in AC yet - More are on the way this year apparently.

I am hugely excited about being able to replicate the 1998 24h du Mans with the 911 GT1-98, TS020 GT-one and CLK-LM.

I was told by somebody who knows plenty about the car roster not to expect the 919 Hybrid. Also, this week another member seemed to remember that it was said it was not planned. Hopefully it comes as DLC though.

I believe Rennsport come to SMP. I missed it last year.

About cars, at 3:43 in the video, two Cayman GT4s can be seen. One is an RTR/H&R Springs Cayman and the other is a Falken liveried Cayman.

I really hope the 356 in this tweet turns up in the game, even if it's DLC. The 935/936, 962, and 911 GT1 are nifty, but my priority for Porsche is to have some older roadcars to toss around. The RR dynamics should be lots of fun with the new physics and a softer, old, naturally-aspirated car.
