Glad you like it, thanks! Those two are an awful lot more effective as a diptych đź‘Ť
What do you mean...?Show off
Will you go the Samyang route or the "L" route?Pretty set on getting a 35mm f/1.4 as my next lens now, after I part ways with a couple of other lenses I don't have much need for.
First of all, thank you.Great shots ! You using a full frame body or a DX body ? I'll need to try some shallow depth of field shots. I haven't used my 50mm f1.4 much because its a real PITA to focus with my body, the focus light is far from accurate. Do you think shots like yours are attainable with f1.4 vs the 1.2 ? Haven't really researched it or looked at photos others took with the lens.
First of all, thank you.
I'm using a full frame body (D600).
Answering your question, FX vs DX will have a deeper impact over depth of field than f/1.2 vs f/1.4.
Putting it in others words, you will get shallower depth of field with a FX + f/1.4 combination than with a DX + f/1.2.
And yes, focusing can be tricky - sometimes I need my time to shoot these, especially since they are manual focus lenses.
