So is hydrogen a thing?

I remember Honda making one 10 years ago, but it wasn't spoken about since. Now there's a Toyota hydrogen fueled car, but was priced at $80,000 last year I saw it at the car expo in Brussels.

AFAIK Toyota has the Mirai, and Honda has a similar car known as the Clarity.
