Is the current kart in the game single speed?

Yes it is. Partly for that reason this does not sound like a terribly enjoyably thing to do. Might give it a go once, we'll see. It's got to be more fun than running the Kubelwagen around the Ring in GT5 was.

This would be a blast in the old Superkart from PC1 though.

The old superkart was great. Don't know why they didn't put it in this game.

in the beginning of pc2 there was no leaderboard for karting on the green hell.....
Been there, did that already

So TIL the shiftless kart with longest gearing and minimum downforce(which appears to make virtually no difference) will make it about 1 3/4 times around the 24 hour track before the engine blows up... a bit less if you're faster than me.


There's probably better ways I could have spent that half hour
