For now you can’t buy this truck — it’s for show and events only — so you’ll have to form an orderly queue.

It isn't even that nice — I wouldn't go to a show to watch this.

So does a milkfloat. Pretty sure it never got compared to Nigel Mansell's championship winning car, the Williams FW14.

Now I'm starting to wonder how an F1 engine would get on off-road had they given it the Espace F1 treatment. That torque would do quite nicely...

Probably terrible since you need to rev the nuts off it to get any kind of power or torque. Off-road you need low-RPM torque and HP.

You are right on that one. As most commercial motors go something is based off something else. In this case a Mercedes X Class is also mostly a Nissan.

for me is wierd this pickup, is like a fiat freemont/fiat toro with a abarth skin

It makes perfect sense. It tells people they have a twuck.
In Australia, Renault's are good cars. People buy them. Even if this one is only doing European rounds, it gets people seeing it.

In Australia, Renault's are good cars. People buy them. Even if this one is only doing European rounds, it gets people seeing it.

You know how big the dual cab ute market is in Aus now. No doubt that this would sell like hot cakes down here.
