BoP is all that they needThe bottom four brands should gain a spare Gr.3 to alleviate their hindering Gr.3 cars in the series. Their Gr.4s are usually top tier but it's their only carry in the points. Audi could go back a generation on the R8 LMS, PD has the Bilstein LMS from GT6 just raring to be ported over. The rest however will need a brand new model designed to support them next year.
Is it though? They have been buffed by BoP many times before but it has stopped them from being stable vehicles to drive. Plus the Peugeot VGT Gr.3 is only used for top-speed circuits. That needs a nerf in this week's Daily Race C.BoP is all that they need

Gr. 4 and Gr. 1 are broken on so many levels BoP isn't enoughGr4 BoP needs a 500 page novel of changes to get that right, but Gr3 probably just the Audi and Alfa need a little help. In the right hands McLaren and Lambo are just as good as Ferrari and Honda (also MR).
Alfa was my 2nd choice for example but I was put off by the lack of top tier Asian drivers. That's what ultimately let a lot of the lower manufacturers down, I think only Audi and Lamborghini didn't have a driver in any Top 24 race across all 3 regions.
The Audi is just an unpopular car. I use it whenever I can and it's around the same ballpark as my Lexus in terms of laptimes. Lambo and Ferrari are fast but hard to control, and Aston Martin is an above average straight line monster. I think the ones that need a buff the most are McLaren and Alfa, but maybe just by incrementsIs it though? I’m racing Lamborghini in the off season now, dont really think it needs that much of a BOP boost if any, its biggest issue is tyre wear.
BoP is more than just engine power and vehicle weight. The default setup could be adjusted to allow for a very different feel for the cars.Is it though? I’m up to a second off the leaderboards which is comparable to the one make daily sport mode races, with a bop increase I would expect to be closer, and whilst in the past few weeks Ive experienced a little pace improvement BOP wise I’m not convinced they are lacking.I dunno, the Gr. 3 was a real tough drive before the tire physics update, I think it got hampered in the first half of the season... though I don’t know what top performers were pulling during that time. The update made it plenty more usable, but the damage may have already been done, points-wise.
I agree this needs to be looked at to help drive-ability of the cars, BOP is just power to weight I don`t see why they lock of set-upsBoP is more than just engine power and vehicle weight. The default setup could be adjusted to allow for a very different feel for the cars.
