Just over a year ago I was in Tokyo. A friend and I were heading home after a long night at an arcade in Yokohama when I saw a Miata coupe behind a building.

I know someone in AUS with a NB Coupe. A yellow type A. There is a 2nd one here as well, a red one. Both were imported at the same time,

There is one rare model missing from that list. Australian only MX-5 SP from 2000/2001. Most powerfully Mazda backed MX-5 ever sold and there were only 101 of them built.

Nice article, although I hate to admit it I do have a soft spot for this car thanks to Gran Turismo but I don't drive it enough, I just wish we had some more versions of it but now I know about the Le Mans edition I guess I have to go livery hunting to see if it's in GT Sport as feel inclined to race
the Roadster GT League event again with it.

Fun fact, they didn't strip down the paint on the Le Mans editions before painting them. One guy came across a black NA 5 and whilst he was doing some body work on it sanded it down to come across the orange paint underneath.

Unsurprisingly that one (in Hong Kong?) has been on sale for a little while now. They're rare, but when I've seen them come up actually in Japan they're not £30k cars just yet.

We have a gathering of 10th Anniversary editions in the UK, the one planned for this year, 2019, the cars 20th birthday will have around 25 cars.
