Although anybody who off roads should know that pointy ends on front bumpers never last long and tend to make the whole bumper fall off after an impact. Maybe make the bumper a little more "flat" on the bottoms

Apparently this car's going on Honda's press fleet, so I can definitely try that out.

What annoys me is that there was no factory-option 18" wheels for the CTR. Meatier tires look so much nicer - and they're more comfortable! Honda would say the huge wheels were required to clear the brakes, but is the FK8 the first tuner car where people actually seem to prefer going down in size when they get aftermarket wheels for theirs? Crazy.

Anyway, I'm loving this. I'm not a fan of the standard car, but I would so rock this around town, laughing every time I passed a lowered STi with Rally Armor mudflaps.

This was my idea right here on gtplanet!. I was told(by members) having a road going WRC(basically due to the rollcage), was a bad idea. The current car safety systems such as door beams and rigid a-pillars are good enough in addition to airbags, etc. Still, a WRC would be the best all round vehicle to own for all types of use. This is just such a car, minus roll cage. I love it!

I honestly didn't think it was possible for this current-gen Civic Type R to be any uglier. Shows what I know.

The only way to make this gen CTR look good is by making it a touring car. Both the BTCC and WTCR variants of the FK8 look fine. Although their colour schemes probably help a lot, their conventional racing spoilers also makes a real difference. It also helps that the latter series' Civic TCR is about the fastest touring car in the world right now (with front-wheel-drive).

And for those wanting to see this be an actual rally car, well, yes, of course...after all, the WRC had some top cars based around this segment of the market. Obviously they've gone a step down since but I'm sure there are some current hatchbacks which would look like cracking rally cars.
