Forza Horizon 4 Season Change: Digging Through Autumn's Cash Reserves

It always worries me when a game reaches this level of content. I don't know how licensing would affect a game like this, but right now I feel like FH5 should be a live service with bigger maps, expansions, car packs, etc. Because there is really nothing that game could possibly do to surpass FH4 at this point, other than some minor polishing that could instead be added to FH4 in patches.

And yeah, this game is getting old. It pretty much relies on the Season changes at this point.

I much as I love FH4, it really is time we got back on the track with FM8. T10 can't keep on relying on PG forever to continue supporting FH4. Even though it's good as an idea, the fact is it's becoming older now. PG has done wonderfully with FH4, so once support is over, it will be well deserved imo. :)

Looking forward to seeing FM8 at Xbox's event on July 1s 2020. :D

Hmm, once real life issues have calmed down, they may have fixed the issues the update was having.

The constant car changes in the forzathon shop is nice and the updates are free anyway so I don't mind waiting.

Off to do some casual drifting with randoms, in vehicles that seem out of place for drifting! (Audi S1/Ferrari 360 CS/etc)

Totally agree here....I was so happy to see the Corvette Pre-Order car the other day as I had every other car in game except for 4 pre-order cars (only started playing 3 months ago and by the time I decided the Auction House was worth a visit, they'd stopped the auction of PO cars!!)...here's hoping they put the other 3 in the shop at some point so I can complete my collection

As this week was a back-up Playlist again, I'm sure it's been used before at some point but it was a new Playlist to me....the racing was relatively fun although pretty easy, especially the Trial. I already had 3 cars tuned for events from previous Playlist events (1965 Mustang for the Horizon Decades...not CC tuned but powerful enough to overcome the grass/dirt; Bugatti C something.....corners with ease but lacks some straight line speed; Mercedes E65....a little slow getting away but quick once up to speed)...used the Shelby with a dirt tune for The Trial and the PGG I upgraded my Morris Traveller....good acceleration and light enough to manouevre quickly.

Because of the decision to give FM8 and FH5 an extra year of development time, we knew FH4 was going to get some extra use. Honestly, I'm still finding things to do beyond the weekly Forzathons or Eliminator races. I still have so many cars to drive. I also have work to do in the Star Card, Forza Promo, and several other things. And I'm still finding new photo locations. I'm set for another year and a half.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still playing FH4 and doing all the same things you've just mentioned (especially driving the cars, which is my most favorite thing to do now after collecting them all). It's just I really REALLY want to get back on track with FM8. :P
I'm itching to find out what T10 has been doing for almost three years.

I think, even with FM8 released, FH4 should continue getting support until it reaches EOS. I'm still going to play as we head down to Xbox's event on July 1st to see the first parties, (FM8 especially), and onward until the new game is released.

I wouldn't mind another year in FH4, but all the cars we got over the two years is getting me hyped up to drive them all again at FM8. We're getting so close! :D

There is no Corvette Pre-Order car. Did you mean the Camaro?
Since they have been giving away almost all PO cars (except DB11 which is the only car I don't have), I don't see why are these still forbidden in the auction house. I found out only when I wanted to sell my Camaro duplicate.

I would tend to agree with the live maps. Did you know that Flight Simulator 2020 is doing exactly that?

Guess it's the Camaro then  My brain doesn't function so well!

Am not entirely sure why they banned POs in AH..just know they did it about 2 months ago

I would hope that being a Microsoft company that Forza could introduce something like this and just populate the real world with Horizon branded races. Even if the roads aren't 100% accurate, it would be a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, and they broke the summer season. Instead of 100%, I now have 96% with 4 daily challenges turning from done to expired.
