Apart from the French guy's submission, they all looked a bit "safe" to me. I've seen a lot more technically difficult designs in the RXV contest thread in the livery subforum alone, but I guess they preferred clean designs more. Fair play to the winner though, going with a kabuki mask design definitely gives him brownie points with the Japanese judges.

Now, classic PD, they didn't even give us the links to download these. I could only find one so far:

Yeah they do look pretty safe. not to downplay the winnings liveries they are great but safe.

They are bland but that's what the Japanese want for a corporate friendly image they can put anywhere in any country.

I don't know what corporate friendly is supposed to mean here though. Unless its a euphemism for 'isn't a political or a heinous anime girl livery'.

The black and blue livery in particular is extremely hard to actually see any features of the livery because there's no real contrast.

Now if PD really wanted to do a reward for this then they could actually have added the liveries to the game as a choice when you purchase the car
rather than us have to go find the winning liveries over in the Discovr thread on the GT Sport website but I still haven't managed to find the
winning livery I want yet.

I hope that's something PD will have a think about if doing future competitions.
