It should also be brought to light that the latest update is causing Forza Horizon 4 to crash and not even load. A fix is currently being worked on and they should have it tomorrow.
People have been saying that’s not working either. I’m not going to risk losing all of my cars or anything like that so I’ll just wait for them to make a patch. I have every single Forzathon reward car to date.Yeah, I was not amused yesterday. There is a workaround though. You just need to go offline, start the game, pass the intro and you can go online again.
Worked for me and my friend too. I don't think your save is at risk, the game crashes on intro, it doesn't come even close to loading the save. I even restarted the game, since it wasn't registering the weekly forzathon challenges.People have been saying that’s not working either. From what I read about someone losing all of their stuff due to the same issue last year, they only gifted in game money and said that they couldn’t give the person all the cars that they lost.Worked for me and my friend too. I have all the cars too, although they managed to destroy my save last year without any patches, they gift all the cars and items back in that case.
You need to get over it. FH2 and 3 both reached EOL. Those games are not gonna get patched. The only thing that could get a fix are the servers. And I'm not sure why would they need to give some sort of presents too. There is a work around to this problem.Speaking of issues with Forza Horizon 4, Forza Horizon 2 & Forza Horizon 3 also suffer from issues, too. I at least hope there is some sort of Consolation Present or something.

You're right. I'm tempted to install FH2 again just to see it myself. To be fair, they shouldn't need to do a patch anyway. The games are not connecting with the servers for anything community related whereas it was before. Which means it's a server issue only, nothing to do with the game. They broke something at their end on the servers.
But I doubt they will fix anything as they are EOL.
Doesn't affect me as I'm not a "creator", but can someone confirm if you can still access your FH2 and FH3 designs on FH4?
If not, you've lost them forever.
*This* is the real problem for some people potentially. Unless you fancy spending hours recreating them all...

Thankfully the Series consoles got patched so at least they fixed that problem.
They patched FH4 today since the series 35 caused crashes on Series consoles. I doubt they gonna fix FH2/3 anytime soon, if ever.Lies... I've recently looked into Forza Horizon 2 and I still couldn't claim my Daily Drivatar Rewards or access others' Designs. It has been like this for over 4 days now.
They broke the import feature itself on PC and Xbox One in the Series 29 update, and that hasn't been fixed in the Series 35 update. Yeah, they haven't fixed it in 7 months.Doesn't affect me as I'm not a "creator", but can someone confirm if you can still access your FH2 and FH3 designs on FH4?

My save is also broken around 7 months, probably related. They closed my support ticket with the conclusion that it's a known issue. Thumbnails are not updating, cannot load tunes, download gift cars, sell cars on auction house, can save designs only with complicated workarounds, etc. And they even lost my save in the mean time and it's the same problem with the new one. They broke the import feature itself on PC and Xbox One in the Series 29 update, and that hasn't been fixed in the Series 35 update. Yeah they should really fix Magnate. I already completed it long ago, but I can only imagine the frustration. Some may think it's not a game breaking bug... to me it is. I feel uncomfortable and it doesn't affect me at all.Main thing bugging me at the moment is on the Star Card for businesses my earnings are stuck at 1.7m and never update so I cant get the award for earning 2m
Who knows? They could surprise everyone and put everything in backstage and make backstage passes obtainable through Super7. That way players could get those even after the game reach EOL. I can't see Playlists continue after the next game come out and support ends....What actually happens in a Forza game when the 'season playlists' come to an end, do those cars just become 'rare' and only obtainable through the auction house?

I suspect it will probably end like FH3 where the AH is the only place to get exclusive cars. But even with the AH option getting the 599XX in FH3 (for example) is near impossible.
And another thing, the servers. FH2 doesn't have the AH but have a lot of problems with servers. Without them the AH is useless. FH2 is 6 years old. 2 years since it reached EOL. Would you believe FH4 servers to work 5 years after the game goes EOL? I'm not sure.
We got around 130 cars that are exclusive to playlist so far. Not counting Car pass, Expansions, Top Gear, Eliminator, Super7, Mitsubishi and whatever I forgot to mention. What is the number of cars released through the Playlists in FH4, compared with the number in FH3? I suspect it must be a lot more, since even 35 Playlists x2 cars = 70 cars and some Playlists had more than 2 cars included.
