They seem to be hard to find, definitely out numbered by the 1/4 guys/gals

Post up if you still drag in the tunnel or have moved on to ssrx 3k

I mostly do 3k now but if no one is there I go back to the tunnel.

Konky, ugothoned, griever, bonethugs, spicoli, dr24, d2, ghost, mafia, calvury, mickey, airjordan....

are a few of the guys i usually see around and have good runs with

Yeah looks like it, there are still some that do the tunnel that i recognize, very few though.

There are some cars with different tunes but most the time if you had a good tune for the tunnel, it should carry over pretty well in the 3k.

The extra distance in the 3k helps some cars sacrifice the launch for more top end, a little more room to play catch up.

extra distance? 3k is 30m shorter than the tunnel lol

Based off the top speed reached at the end of the tunnel then going to route x, I get my tunnel trap speed at the the 2600-2700 mark on route x.

You can verify that on your non winged cien, 253 in the tunnel and about 256 in route x 3k right?

Most my cars run roughly 2mph faster at the 3k mark.

Be it distance or elevation, it is what it is. My point was, cars trap higher in the 3k then the tunnel. That additional speed maybe helping some cars that get a bad launch to catch up in the end

Like you said, if route x is shorter, then maybe its an elevation change.

Route X is flat, tunnel is uphill and/or has a turn. :)

The last 3rd of the tunnel is uphill, My samba bus would always slow down in the last section of the tunnel

^^ beat me to it

Thats just the way that track is and how they made it. Nobody knows why you go faster but we do. Just like aero tunes nobody knows why they work. And the cien over the 3k can get 258-9mph.
