Weird that the car's full name is "Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur Nur-Special"...

I'll just stick with Skyline GT-R (Falken Nurburgring) for my listing purposes...

I believe if you buy a Nissan Skyline R34 (favorite car of SkylineGTR and McLaren'sAngel among others) and get a racing mod for it, you can choose which paintscheme you want, but you can paint it up as the Falken Skyline. And I'm sure it probably won't matter if you have a 4WD R34 or a FR R34.

Another "Did You Know?" is that you can paint up your Honda S2000 in GT2 with Spoon Sports colors, but this is about the Skyline, not the S2000.

Hmmm, some people have some interesting ideas on how they label cars don't they....

Noting that the last model of R34's which rolled off Nissan's production line were BNR34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur editions, ie the gold coloured cars in GTC, the falken car was specially made by NISMO for Falken, for this years 24-hour race, hence it was called the Nur-Special....

now that wasn't so hard was it....

In regards to the repainting of cars, I'd prefer it if the racing modifications made the cars look like the various time attack cars presently being pumped out in Japan rather than official racing cars, that way not dilluting the image of any real race car by moding a FR skyline, or heavens forbid, a Falcon XR6-T......

Then again, all the falcadore owners out there will then get their HRT or Pirtek cars kicked by a tuned S2000, that would be priceless.....

And like a million others 💡

John do you really have to mention McLaren'sAngel in nearly every post you make

Nice find cobra ;)

when i posted those pics two weeks ago i should have put them somewhere where more people could see them i guess ;)
anyway nice digging them out for those people cobra.

the demo was a post e3 version. it already included the paris night course (as you can see in one of the pics) but the falken personnel made sure you don´t play anything but "their" skyline on the "nurb". there were also a few new cars in that version of the game and the physics are said to have improved further from gt4p.

The top right pic looks like some sort of track selection screen.
With the tracks in this order;
NewYork/Hong Kong? - Nurburgring (selected) - pass - Hungoring(sp?)/Hong Kong? - Suzuka/somethingelse? - pass

Then again they could just be corner names or something from the 'Ring.

Not quite Mustang...

It's New York - Nurburgring - George V (Paris) - Honk Kong - Tsukuba - Fisco (Fuji)

Nothing new unfortunately... although it does mean that the falken team would've been able to race on the paris track?!

I wonder if there were any more tracks off to the right of fuji (Fisco)?!

He's secretly on the McLaren payroll and attempting to subtlely and subconciously advertise for them. Thus, he has quotas to meet.

Who'd want to race anything but the Nordschleife anyway?

The gold cars in GTC were Skyline GT-R M-Specs.

And Falken has been racing an R34 Skyline at the Nurburgring for a few years now, so there's no way this car is based off of the Nur Edition of the Skyline GT-R.

i have to correct you there 359. they´vev been running a skyline for some years, that´s right but this time the brought a completely new car based on nur edition.

i would love to race there, that track looks huge and hard, it will take a lot of skill to beat other ai, if they improve them and u have equal cars....also i wanna race on high speed ring :)

I noticed that track map on the first page while I was getting bashed on. The track on there read "Fisc..." from what I can make out. It's on the far right of Toler's pick in Post #17. Any idea on what this one is?

There's a pic on IGN showing the route...be back in a minute to edit it and show you dweebs...:D:D

EDIT: sorry for the size...but here it is enjoy!!!:D:D:D

Now we need to find a French member who's car is in GT4 to lose his license speeding around the place to see how close the lap times are.
