Ok so i searched and searched and searched. I found out only how to connect the 2 ps2s using a crossover which is what we are using, but we would like to have 2 players per PS2 and have a total of 4 people playing. So its just 2 people per screen. Is that possible or not? and if so could anyone share how?

In LAN mode it's 1 person per PS2. You CAN do an endurance race with 2 cars and swap drivers at pit stops...
Unfort these guys speak the truth. Trust me i was mega pissed off that this was impossible. Options such as this should be sotck standard in todays multi player gaming world. But i'm shocked time and time again that simple things like this get left out (PGR3 has the same thing... no split screen via live). ggrrr
