So, Today, while doing Like The Wind A spec with my Peugeot 905 Race Car, I hit 437 km/hr while drafting the R92CP Nissan and completely destroyed everyone into first place, I was just wondering is this normal? I cant even imagine what I could hit on Sarthe.

That's nothing really to write home about. Many of us are already doing 440km/h and more at SSR7 in road cars from the Veyron to the Enzo, McLaren F1, Audi R8 5.2 & Corvette ZR1 during online races.....god help us what the speed would be if we were in LMP's, F1's & X1's!!

i can say that enzo mclaren and zr1 cannot nearly reach the speeds that the peugeot can especially seeing as drafting hasnt even worked for me online.

Create a room and have boost set to mild or strong and watch the results. I did that a few nights back and had some of the best racing I've been involved in for a long time against a bunch of Aussie's, Brit's and a couple of French people. 👍

Horsepower restrictions also help.....make it 1350hp max so you allow all road cars and some LMP's but not the X1. ;)

thats what im saying. i drafted behind a veyron on ss7 today and was at 380 and not climbing at the massive speed on a spec to 440+ km/hr. im sure i could hit 460 on ss7.

That's because the Veyron sucks to draft against UNLESS you have your boost set to mild or strong. The Zonda R however, is a WONDERFUL car to get a draft off, even when the boost is at none. 👍

boost is at full at all times on the peugeot. either way, even with the toyota minolta on indy i cant nearly reach the same drafting speeds, i think the peugeot just has some massive coeffiecient on it for drafting or something. the toyota keeps a bit more speed on its own but 440 on a little straight stretch is insane.

*facepalm* :odd: I'm not talking about the car!! I'm talking about the room itself (when you are online racing) where you set the options for horsepower restrictions, if you have driving aids on or off, if you have boost set at none, mild or strong!! When you set those up right, it doesn't matter what car you have to a degree because the drafting boost will keep the racing close.

ah haha ive never set up a room so i didnt know you could do that, that seems pretty stupid to me, the driving aids are okay but setting boost? either way i just hit 443 on the peugeot doing indy. 70k per race in less then 4 minutes is nice when you pull constant 39 sec laps.

Being stuck in a car that does "only" 43 second lap times is worth it for the extra 28k and 900 EXP per race once you hit lv 23 ;)
