VCRC is awesome and highly recommended.
You can also check out DeadNutsEven from my sig, ages from 20's to 50's but a mature group. You might also look at The Car of the Month Club. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=275029
Some of the same guys have been or are currently in all three with laid back, clean, good racing.
Hi! I just noticed this now...
Good to see people recommending VCRC events for the older folks... but we're not just vintage cars and not just vintage people.
I don't yet qualify for AARP But I'm not that far from it.
And I believe several of my racing pals are around my age or older.
I can think of at least 2 who have recently raced in events I've hosted that I know are over 50. But I'll never say who - that's their business to do so!
I also know we've had good fun racing with drivers ranging about 40 years difference in ages.
We run a pretty tight ship when it comes to respect for fellow racers and honourable behaviour on track... whether the racer is 16 or 60, it's expected that the driver has some sense about them.
