Hey can someone give me some 599 and/or some Gallardo tuning tips. Or go right ahead and be my saviour by laying out your tune.

You think that all the "good" tuners were born with the skills to know what makes their car faster? We read the same threads as you and learned from trial and error. I use the term "good" because I consider myself good, and there are also great tuners and epic tuners.

My advice is to join one of the multiple competitions going on to tune one specific vehicle. If you can learn from tuning one car, it will help you with others. This is how I learned.

If you're really that confused on what to do, look at some threads here that have tunes for similar cars - ie the GT-Rs(for Gallardo) or Ford no-stripe(for 599) for reference. They're base tunes for other cars but work decently for cars of the same type - 4WD & RWD. No one is going to willingly give out a top tune for these cars to someone who hasn't even gotten their feet wet yet.

For the Gallardo I'd look at R34.. Very similar car capable of very similar times and 599.. I have yet to see drag.

I had a Gallardo tune, it was very basic but the launches were amazing! Not the hardest but deffinately the best looking (smokey) haha. Do you have Route X? If so just use the tuning bible for reference and keep adjusting it. that's what I did. It was fun dragging with it even if it wasn't the fastest 👍

Oh and specific tips? for the Gallardo I know I put more power to rear wheels percentage wise, but that's all I remember.. people might not agree with that but i'm just a beginner drag tuner so I had some fun
