TVR&FF: "Welcome to the latest interview, with none other then NTX1982, someone's shots I have enjoyed. Anyway, Nuno tell us a bit about you."

NTX1982: "Well, I like a lot playing videogames, since the good old Master System. In addition to this, I also like movies and cars.

However, away from the things I like, I am without a job at this moment in time, which is why I spend most of my time in GTP."

TVR&FF: "What other hobbies do you do other then video games."

NTX1982: "Internet mostly, also I like being in my house a lot. However If I go out I just go to a cinema or bar."

TVR&FF: How do you pay the bills for stuff like the internet and Electric?

NTX1982: "My parents pay the bills not me."

TVR&FF: "Some people now must be wondering how old you are, so how old are you Nuno."

NTX1982: "Well I just turned 25 of late."

TVR&FF: Would you like to tell us a bit about your history on GTPlanet?

NTX1982: Well, I just joined last year on February, when I was looking for a GT site and luckily, for me GTP was what I just wanted.

However, one thing, which caught my eye on GTPlanet before I joined, was of course the galleries, but after the galleries caught my eye, I thought I could do my own gallery.

Once I had signed up, I went to the Photomode forum and started my gallery up, but my first shots were not that good, but I learned over time and improved as time went on.

TVR&FF: How do you hope the future will go for you in the Photomode side of the community?

NTX1982: "Well I hope it goes well, but it will be most certain with GT5, because I noticed that GT4 is loosing its power. Still I wish people could check my GT4 gallery in the future, because GT4 was the game that started all this."

TVR&FF: "From the sounds of things, you sound like you are not happy at how many people there are in the community now. However, I bet you remember when the community was busy with many galleries running on a daily basis."

NTX1982: "It is not about being happy, but I have seen so many good people leave, or taking those big breaks, however when I joined it was nuts."

TVR&FF: Let us move onto the first question, which comes in from Beerzgood, and this goes a bit like this:

What cars/tracks/phototravel locations do you get the most fun using and why?

NTX1982: For cars, I like to use more:

European or Japanese, I like the BMW M3 or the Integra Type R.

Tracks:

I like the ones with better lightning, like Laguna Seca or Suzuka.

Phototravel:

I have a favourite place, GION...I really like the mood of that location and the cameras can capture good parts of the cars.

TVR&FF: The next question is from someone, who you have worked with in the Photomode community, and that person is Speedster502:

Was there been anyone that has given you tips or advice on how to get better?

NTX1982: "Speedster is one of the people that give some tips. However, I also learned some tricks with Jacoja, Alex (making panels presentations). In addition to those people, even you will be making it into this list TVR&FF, because I remember those rain effect shots.

TVR&FF: This question comes in from someone else you know very well, and that person is Tommi2000:

If there is anyone in particular, who you look up to in GT4 photography?

NTX1982: "I really like Jacoja’s style, and I try to do some things that I learned with him In my shots. However, one thing I must say about Jacoja is he is a big reference in GTP Photo galleries. In addition to Jacoja, I also like alexwrc’s style, because he produces top quality shots.

Anyway to close my top three, I will have to include, Beerzgood in my top three, because he can do so many amazing things in the shots, and since he produces some amazing shots I would love to have his skills someday."

TVR&FF: "After some good questions, lets move back to the chat show stage of this interview, and the first thing I would like to bring up is would you like you like to give a history lesson of your past and current days with video games."

NTX1982: "I have a big list, which I will start of with one of my beloved games, and that is Streets of Rage for Mega Drive, because to me its one of those games that you cannot forget. Another game that I love is GTA, and since I love it, so much I reckon the person who invented this concept should have a place in heaven.

However, most recently, there is Gran Turismo of course (GT2 is my favourite GT, but before you ask me why, I will not reveal why I love GT2 the most.)

And to carry on with my list I will have to include Final Fantasy and the great God of War."

TVR&FF: "Nuno would you like to put each of the Gran Turismo games in order."

NTX1982:

First - GT2
Second – GT4
Joint third and fourth – GT3 and GT1

TVR&FF: Right time for another question, this one comes from jgda9rs:

How do you think your real life inspires you (if at all) when you do an update?

NTX1982: "I try to put realism on my shots, at least in the PMC ones, and because of this, I have to watch TV a lot. However, one thing I do not like seeing is cars flying by or doing stupid things in the shots.

In addition to me trying to add realism to my PMC shots, I try to add realism to my 2.0 shots as well."

TVR&FF: Right time for the next question from franz:

How did you influence your girlfriend to enjoy Photomode in GT4?

NTX1982: I did not influence her, in other words, she saw some galleries, and she said the following:

"I could do that too"

*NTX1982 adds* "After she said that, I asked her to join GTP, which led to her joining. Oh and I would like to say one more thing, she loves Sejtur photos."

TVR&FF: "You had better be careful, if you do not watch your back she may start to date Sejtur in real life."

TVR&FF: Right time it is time for some more chat show type questions, how do you hope the future turns out for video games?

NTX1982: "The future of videogames...hmm I don’t know, what more can be improved. The next thing it is having games by request, meaning, I want a type of game."

TVR&FF: How do you hope the future goes for the GT series, in addition to this, how will the GT series cope with its rivals in the future.

NTX1982: "It is getting hard now. Back in Gran Turismo 1, the competition was weak. However, at this moment in this there is Forza Motorsport 2 and PGR4 and because of this GT must improve in some things.

Also because of FM2 and PGR4, they must include damage, because how can this be the real driving simulator without damage.

In addition to damage, they need to check some other things, like having cars that are more "normal."

*NTX did not stop there he also wants a small white reverse light on all small cars.*

TVR&FF: Right time for the last question, which is from Brock5000:

You have developed a distinctive style over the past few months, is this something you have worked on intentionally or has it just happened?

NTX1982: "I think it happened. Some people say, "I love your style" or "I can see that this shots is yours", which is good to know. However for me, I edit the shots, and when the final work looks good to me, I save it.

Another thing including realism can be that distinctive style. However, in 2.0 shots it’s hard to get a style, in PMC its way easier."

Bonus Question time

TVR&FF: PC or Mac?

NTX1982: "PC, because I don’t have money for Mac (I loved MacGyver back in the 80´s)"

TVR&FF: "You will lucky to even, get one apple through from Steve Jobs or Apple now."

TVR&FF: What Photo Editing program do you use mainly?

NTX1982: "Photoshop CS3, but for quick edits it has to also be Picasa."

TVR&FF: "How can you afford CS3 without job."

NTX1982: "I have my connections"

*NTX laughs*

TVR&FF: What is your Favourite type of engine?

NTX1982: "V8, because it makes a great sound"

TVR&FF: When GT5 comes out, what will you be mainly working on for the first year of GT5, either GT4 or GT5 for Photomode?

NTX1982: "GT5 will be the king, but I will always include a bonus shot to remember how good GT4 is."

TVR&FF: Who, out of these two people would you like to do a Photomode gallery – Ken Kutaragi or Kazunori Yamauchi?

NTX1982: "The great Yamauchi"

TVR&FF: If you could improve GT4 Photomode, what would you do in the game, and how do you hope GT5 will take Photomode to the next stage?

NTX1982: "The cameras could be more "open". I do not know how to explain...sometimes I feel frustrated to take a type of shot, because the camera cannot sometimes catch what I planned before going into Photomode.

However, in GT5, I hope we can have the possibility to have two or more cars in Phototravel, as well as cars and bikes in the same picture."

TVR&FF: Right before we wrap this up there is just two more things, with the first being:

Nuno if you had some wise words to say to people how they can improve there shots, in five words, what would it be?

NTX1982: "Check the "Professionals" galleries"

*NTX then goes on to say, it is true Jamie isn’t it, because seeing some of the best guys galleries can help out people a lot.*

TVR&FF: "I agree, because even I learned from so many great people who are under the Professionals bracket. Anyway thanks for interview, it has been good.

However before this interview finishes do you have any final thoughts on today’s interview with no other then you"

NTX1982: "I can’t remember anything Jamie, but I would just like to say keep updating guys, because that is what keeps GTPlanet alive."

*Jamie and Nuno both shake hands*

What about interviewing you? seems right since it seems you have the longest running gallery (correct me if I'm wrong) since I'm new I just read up on some of the interviews, and if not you then why not NTX1982. Since he has a nice gallery and much experience, since he's been around here for awhile...

i told him that a long time ago as well. he's just not sure who would do it for him, like interview him. maybe he should ask his dad.

TVR I would be willing to interview you at some point if you want.

If not then my suggesttion goes to NTX too he is a great friend at the moment and such a great photographer.

TVR loves interviewing himself... look through his posts and you'll see.

Incidentally, if this is Interview #6, how come there's only been 4 people interviewed before? I mean, surely 6 doesn't come after 4, does it?

I missed off atlop, that is why.

I think you guy should interview some one who has made a lot of progress in their photos.

Sure the people you have interviewed in the past post amazing photos, but, how is that as big of a deal compared to someone who started with just the stock GT4 stuff and then progressed to some fantastic works of art?

I can think of a few people off the top of my head:
- jgda9rs
- mouser
- Driftnewb110
- [empty space]

I'll add another vote for NTX, I like the kid's style :)

Speedster has improved a lot lately and would also make a good candidate.

Hey Brock thanks for the kid part  I wouldn´t mind being a kid again, good old days...but with almost 25 years its kinda hard to be a kid

Thanks also to all that suggested me to be interviewed next:)

My suggestions are Speedster502 or Beerzgood:tup: (lets see if Beerz comes back to GTP, his work is so good!!)

I still support the interview of NTX for the 6th Photomode Gallery owner to be interviewed, because he has more experience, he takes good shots, and edits it well, having always a certain look, that, when you look at the shot, you see that have been made by NTX.
But (maybe for the 7th interview) why not also interview some new guys? Like tapetape and Observer, that also take awesome pictures and had a good editing on them. Especially Observer, I am getting impressed by every work he make. (No offence to anyone).
Off course, there are other more experienced that I would like to be interviewed (like Beerzgood (if ever came again), Brock5000, TVR, Speedster,jgda9rs…(etc.).

thanks for mentioning my name guys 👍 i agree with the rest of the nominations too, but i would really love for TVR&FF to be interviewed. i'll even do it myself one day if i have time, on msn if he doesn't mind, just you guys gimme a whole bunch of questions to ask him  maybe i'll set up a mini interview of my own with him one day (with him on the spotlight of course ) i bet it'll be such a laugh

PS: i maybe laughing, but i do mean it! :D you're lucky i've been working more than 6 days a week these days jam-E!

Cool, I get to ask the 1st one:

What cars/tracks/phototravel locations do you get the most fun using and why?

If there is anyone in particular, who do you look up to in GT4 photography?

TVR - would it be possible it there were a set of standard questions that would be asked to anyone being interviewed?

I'm talking about things as "where you're from", "what you do for a living", "any hobbies", "what other games you play", etc. Basically more personal questions not around GT4 to get to know the person better, they'd be exactly the same for anyone interviewed.

It'd make interviews more interesting and more complete, imo.

I try my best with every interview to try to get that stuff out of people, when I do the talk show style part of interviews. However remember at fore most these interviews are about Photomode and the GT series, also sometimes depending on the day the interviews are done I cannot cover some of the stuff you are talking about.

Granted, but not all questions have to revolve around GT4, it's an interview with someone, it's much better to get some profiling before the actual questions.

Besides, since they'd be the same questions for everyone, they could even be PM'd anytime to the person being interviewed and that person would reply whenever he/she has time, and you'd only need to copy/paste these on the start of the rest of the interview.

There are just three more question spots remaining.

Update

The interview is being done on Saturday, so if you are yet to submit a question please submit it as soon as possible.

here's a few questions for NTX:

You have developed a distinctive style over the past few months, is this something you have worked on intentionally or has it just happened?

What things do you think influence your photos? Anything from outside of the game?
