70 Mustang Cammer

Has anyone done a tune on the 1970 Mustang Trans Cammer? Its a cool nlooking and sounding car, its just not to driver friendly! If someone could do atleast just a good all around tune, it would be very very appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out. Oh just for reference i will be using soft slicks on it.

ok i got! i have to use one of the two only tunes on here for this car. so if somebody has done another tune who hasn't posted it, or even has a idea on what might help tune this car, i shouldn't ask. If anyone has a tune diffrent from the two already on here please do not reply to this post! I feel so stupid now for asking question in a forum that i thought was for that. Atleast i know now not to post anything if there maybe a answer already posted related to what i might ask, even if it's not quite what i'm looking for, i should just say "ok thats close enough", this way we can keep the useless thread and post count down.

When I have a min I'll take a look at her. Seems more like a road going NASCAR style ride, good for making banked left hand turns. I got one but haven't messed with it yet. Or a dragger but I have to check it out more. Not sure but the real deal is it a show car trailer queen or do they push it around a track from time to time?

From what i've played with it, i think you hit it with saying it is NASCAR style. Look forward to hearing with what you could do with it. Thanks for the welcome and willingness to help!

I'm working on it now, was a lil bit of a slouch at first (pretty narrow ride with the wide boys on) I've manage to slap her in check, still fiddling with her.

What track are you looking to use her, on and target lap times?

I've got a set up for her working great, but it feels like it can get more refined, I'm just at the point of enjoying the set up as is, I'm going to drive it for a bit to feel it out. Surprising the car is fun to drive, & not as sluggish through the corners as I was expecting, although very punishing at times she's good for some impressive lap times.

Surprisingly fast (7:07.670 @ Tha Ring with a clean lap, no assist), but still a lil unforgiving at times. I wasn't expecting this car to be so damn fast around corners, I am please though.

I've already improved upon the posted setting, but I'll wait for some feedback before updating.

No prob, I tried to stiffen her up a Lil more but with 11k springs already, she became viciously unforgiving & it made for a scary ride. I manage the lean with the ARB's & careful dampening, neutralizing most of the on throttle oversteer though the LSD and wheel alignment. Its aggressive but works.

All of a sudden this Pony started eating corners one after the other, so quick I had to bring this Beast to Tha 'Ring. Balls to the wall she held together for a clean lap.

There is another Set up for the Cammer recently posted, I think in the RVR garage.

Try em both theirs and mine. I've made some changes I'm waiting on your feedback before posting. It would also be good to have a comparison to possibly improve upon the set up. Pluss they are a new Garage eager to get some people trying out their work.
