71 Mustang Tuning Help

I am a big time beginner at tuning cars in GT. I rarely went in there to do anything in the older versions.... I know realize how much of GT I actually missed, but I don't understand what a lot of the options actually do. Can anybody help me setup a race ready 71 Mustang from GT5?

I have purchased many of the options already for it - Fully customization trans, suspension, all 3 weight reductions, supercharger, etc...

So what settings should I do to help it corner?

BTW, I am reading the tuning guides I found in the "GT5 tuning Guide post".
