787b problems

Yeah, it's ironic but i'm unfortunaly having problems with it.

It dosent seem to just "work" I can't describe it more. Could someone give me one good setup to reduce wheelspin and just good turning.

-Oh yeah it's fully tuned with 984 hp

Thanks,
~akira

p.s Ive tried gt vault and the setups suck.

Um I don't have this car but having the Traction Control set to 5 in my similarly powered skyline helps the wheelspin. I noticed with some cars like the Elise 190 having ASM set to its default value helps the car turn better, although with most cars I like it turned off. Also messing about with the camber and toe settings usually can help.

Here are some settings I try in a few of my cars to try and help the handling better, but as each car is different I can't guarentee them being any good so it's best to back-up your old settings.

Spring Rate: Have the front quite soft and the rear about 2.1 higher.
Ride Height: Keep the front as low as it will go, and the rear as low as it will go or as high as it will go.
Shock Bound: 6,7
Shock Rebound: 7,8
Camber: Dunno, I just set it random and hope it works.
Toe: Same as above.
Stabilizer: 3,3 or 3,4
LSD: I usually just copy this from the road setup settings at gtvauly and then round the numbers to the nearest 5 or 10.
TCS: 3-5
everything else off
Tires: T4 or T6 but T7 are probably best.

Anyway as I said these settings aren't universal so I hope they work, but if they don't please don't flame me, I'm not an expert when it comes to car setups and it's likely that we have different driving styles so what suits me may not suit you. Good Luck! :)

Well, if i had to say anything, at turning, the rear wheels just seem to break off the track, resulting in spinouts.

sorry if i have been broad with this topic;)

try an LSD of 5/5/5,... also,... mess with your rear CA angle a little more,.... one more thing,.... your rear suspension might be too stiff,..

You might be right about the suspension. I think its at like 18.X kg or something.

when you mean CA angle you mean camber right:confused:

Yes. Good baseline camber settings are 3.0 in front and 1.0 in back. Add more camber in back if it over steers, less if it understeers.

Also, I tend to run maximum downforce on cars with adjustable downforce at both ends. If you can only adjust the rear, adding d/f prings out too much understeer.

Hmm for my 787B I didn't do anything with the suspension, I only set the downforce higher and I set TCS to 1 which helps to prevent wheelspin off the line, but you need careful throttle control to keep the rear wheels from spinning, if you set TCS too high it's just making your car go slower to fix the problem.
