7th gear??    WHERE?!?!?!

Maybe I missed it in a previous post, but does anyone know what car has the 7th gear??  I read somewhere it was the Viper concept car...........its not.   Anyone know??

I have seen a few people on here also say that it's the Viper Concept.


Maybe it is, aand you just have to adjust the gear ratios to get the 7th gear...

Yeah I thought that too, I tried playing with it and cant get anything.   I'll keep trying, but I think its the wrong car.

The One of the racing supras has a 7 speed I think.

I don't have one, but I'm pretty sure that there is one.

You can get the Team Oreca Viper from winning different Endurance Races, and some other races.


I can't tell you exactly whcih races because I don't have the book right this moment, but I can tell you later tonight, or I can PM you the answers tomorrow.

and you can get the oreca viper by winning every race in the amature section.  actually that's the only time when you can win it.  so have fun racin

Come on guys, stay on the subject. I repeat....THE VIPER (Reg, Concept, or Oreca) DOES NOT HAVE A 7TH GEAR!!!!!!    Does anyone actually HAVE a car with a 7th gear, not just something you heard!

Isn't the Team Oreca Viper available in Arcade mode?  If so then we all know that car does not have 7 gears.  I personally don't think a car with 7 gears exists.  But if that's true why would they put an adjustment space for it? Hmmmm....

Nah, you can also get it on Simulation Mode.



I haven't even checked out Arcade Mode yet, is it any fun?

If it hasn't changed at all from GT1, the Castrol Supra has a 7-speed. I'll try to win the Vitz race to see if that's true.

I don't know but the ONLY way to get the VIPER TEAM ORECA race car is by getting all golds in the AMATURE series of races!!!!!!!!!  I just say that becuase some people are saying that you can win it in an edurance race or win it by getting all golds on a licenes thing but you CAN'T.  just to clear that away

You are correct. If you read my post up above, I said I didn't have the book. So I wasn't positive really on which races you could win it, or even if you could win it on other races period. I just checked, and the car I was thinking of was the Viper GTS-R Concept. YOu can win the Viper GTS-R concept from several different races, but not the Team Oreca Viper.

It's not possible to buy it on my GT3. Do you play n the Arcade mode too? I've heard that beating stuff in arcade unlocks some of the cars you can't buy...
