I picked up an 85 Rx7 for pocket change and with a few mods won the 80's japanese race series. I am sure there are many cars that are better than mine, I just like the old Rx7s
Yeah, regrettably, I spent a MAJOR chunk of change on that race, buying a '79 Civic, fully modding it, and realizing it was a pile - Then went and bought the '70 2-something Z and killed all them.

you can get an 89 300ZX which is fast enough to be used stock. i think it's like 8 grand

^^^Agreed. However, Import is quicker. Funny how the import scene rarely consists of German cars. It's mostly referring to the Japanese imports.
