'83 AE86 drift lift-off technique settings

ive searched and tweaked and tuned my 86 countless of times and i cant get it to easily to the lift off technique. any settings out there to help? thanks.

Would you be able to post your current settings and tell us what types of changes you've tried? Without that, we can make suggestions, but we don't really know what you're working with.


I don't have any AE86 settings available right now, and I'm not familiar enough with any of the ones in the depot to recommend one of them to you (though, that doesnt mean you shouldnt try some). But, I'd suggest that you first lower your LSD decel settings on your current setup and see where that takes you.

thanks for the help i'm still trying different settings so far this is what i'm working with, but for some reason i cant get the lift off technique to easily get started.

brake balance 3/3
spring rate 3.5/5.0
ride height 133/133
shock bound 7/7
shock rebound 7/7
camber angle 2.0/1/0
toe angle 0/1
stabilizers 4/4

auto set trans to 4

lsd
initial torque 15
accel 30
decel 10

ballast weight 15
front rear balance 20

if anyone could suggest anyhelpful changes to my settings it would be really appreciated thanks again.

try putting your initial torque up to about 20/25ish.
