900 degree or 200 degree wheels?

I have recently been hooked on GT5P, i originally started playing with the controller and can get some very respectable times on time trials (am winning a fair few of my online comps between other forums)
My GF's little brother got a Driving Force EX (200 degree) and i can get within about half a second after about half hours play with that wheel..
so i though great, i need to get my self a wheel... so i did... i bought a Driving force pro.. its got 900 degree as we all know..
now i am struggling with this? i think it might be a case of getting used to it but at the minute i am a good 2 seconds slower.
Is any body else struggling with 900 degree turn... or do you have any tips?
cheers

The 900° mode certainly takes some getting used to, it took me weeks to really get to grips with it in GT4 and it was a much easier game to control than GT5P. The best advice is to keep going, you'll eventually reach the point in which you get enlightened and understand what you've been doing wrong. After that it'll be only about honing your skills.

Same here, took me weeks to master the DFP it was my first wheel ever. Then I got G25 and feels a lot smoother and more natural. I did have decent times with controller, but for me Wheel feels a lot more natural, especially when I turn I have less Tire Squeak and better feel of the car with power as well. I think I might improved my time with 2-3 seconds in average.

Get the one you can afford.

IMO, the ONLY reason for anyone to get a 200deg wheel should be because they can't or don't want to spend the money for a 900deg wheel.
