Just bought the Malmut myself for TeamBob to grind the nite hours away. I ran Nurburgring with it right off the dealer floor ie: hard race tires and no turbos. I left the height alone, no toe, default spring rate, 7/5 dampers, 5/5 anti roll, mild camber and 211 trans. Default downforce. Like you said the car runs nicely but to listen to Bob run it, it sounded bogged down.
Ran second time w/stage one turbo, hard front/med rear tires, lower the height -7 front and back, trans at 217. Better but immediately changed to med front and soft rear on first stop and the car lost the bogged down sound.
Third and fourth time w/next turbo stages until I'm at -12 height front -13 back, 1.0 camber front .07 rear, spring rate up a little from default, downforce down a little from default. trans at 236. running consistent 8:30's. I'll tinker with it some over the next few weeks. Compared to most, it's a conservative set up.
I'm currently trying to figure out how to help TeamBob in dealing with the curb climbing at Nurburgring. Gonna try some toe in next time around.
