Daytona Road Course is tonight. From what I have heard, Sunday has been on 'hold' for the past 2 weeks. Fresh says no one showed up.

INTRODUCTION

Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR. In addition to NASCAR, the track also hosts races of ARCA, AMA Superbike, Grand-Am and Motocross. The track features multiple layouts including the primary 2.5 miles (4.0 km) high speed tri-oval plus 3.56 miles (5.73 km) sports car course layout which we will use.

Known for it's high speed banked turns and tight infield, Daytona Road Course will be a fierce battle between top speed and daring late braking. Who will come out on top in the first of the American Season races?

RACE DETAILS

Race room will open ~6:30pm est. (Friday) with qualifying starting ~7:30pm (provided enough entries). Qualifying settings will be fuel consumption/tire wear on FAST while race setting will be NORMAL

TIRE USAGE

MEDIUMS being the prime tires will be used at least 30 laps. SOFT tires used a maximum 25 laps. A MINIMUM STINT of 12 laps must be adhered to before making a pit stop. You choose which compound you qualify with, but start the race with said tire compound.

Hello all, I am wondering if I might be able to extend an invitation to a non-competing series to this one, for any interested drivers in this series to join the GTP Le Mans Prototype Series. Obviously if I were to post this and then hold the races at a competitive time to this schedule it would be very rude, and will not be the case.

If any 90's FIA drivers are interested in competing in our series, I will make sure not to interfere with the scheduling of this series. Thanks for your time, and sorry if anyone takes exception.

Introduction

LOCATED in Japan, Fuji Speedway is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It as built in the early 1960s and hosted the first Formula One race in Japan in 1976. In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. Originally managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Fuji Speedway was acquired by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2000. Fuji Speedway is known for having one of the longest straights in motorsport tracks, at 1.5 km (0.93 mi) in length! Make good use of it!

Race Details

Room will open TONIGHT (8/30) @6:30pm eastern. Qualifying will be 15-20 minutes in length and will start ~30 minutes after room open time. Tire wear/fuel consumption will be on the FAST setting only for qualifying. Race setting will be on Normal. You must start the race on the tire compound (soft or medium) you qualify with!

Tire Usage

MEDIUM TIRES being our prime tire MUST be used for a minimum of 30 laps, with SOFT TIRES being used for a maximum 25 laps. A minimum stint of 12 laps must be completed before or between pit stops.

INTRODUCTION

Twin Ring Motegi is a motorsport race track located at Motegi, Japan. Its name comes from the facility having two race tracks: a 2.493-kilometer (1.549 mi) oval and a 4.8-kilometer (2.98 mi) road course which we will be racing. It was built in 1997 by Honda, as part of Honda's effort to bring the IndyCar Series to Japan, helping to increase their knowledge of American open-wheel racing. The track features 3 major straights with speeds reaching 280kmh, followed by multiple angled turns. The longest straight measures 756Meters (.47 miles).

Per usual, SOFTS are option tires, prime tires are MEDIUMS Minimum 11 laps per stint. A MAXIMUM option tire usage (MEDIUMS) will be 23laps. You choose which compound you qualify with, but start the race with said tire compound.
