90s LeMans W.C./ Season 1 complete!

You had 15 from Laguna Seca, plus 7 (half points for attending and <half distance) from Daytona which was a 'double race' then 23 points for last night with pole (2 points, jake came in late) fastest lap (1 point) and 2nd place (20 points). That's 55 total.

Never mind. :dunce:

The Pagani Zonda LM is definitely suited for these types of tracks. Running that car just proved to myself (and hopefully guys racing) that all these are competitive cars, and any can win given the right tune and strategy. Results will be up after this post.

Not to mention that I had close to 50 extra kg on my Panoz going into this week :)

Daytona wasn't a double POINTS race, it turned out to be a DOUBLE race.

As for the Panoz your weight was 1160kg+25kg success ballast, that's 1185kg to the Pagani's 1150kg, so only 35kg difference ;)

I ran 1187 in the race for whatever reason.:dopey:

Shinshiki, you got 10 points for trying to make the race in round 3 @Indy Road. I didn't put it up. Instead maybe I'll take it away since you're so adamant you only want 45. :sly:

Okay, that's all you had to say. I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just trying to make it fair for everybody else. Do whatever you must now.

Hey Mr. fresh, what is the added ballast to all the cars for this Monday's race? Need to know what I'm adding to the 1015kg I have now. I didn't finish on the podium in the last race, do I take the 15kg away?
Thanks,

Yup, you subtract ALL ballast when you don't podium. I'll have the Values up later. My main concern is what to do with the GTS class. Cnd is the only one attending these races. If there's no interest from anyone else in GTS class I might just fold it and let 4 or 5 guys on each GT1 team.

Can I claim my GTS trophy? 💡 :dopey:

I just read the first page and it does state top 5 for ballast. I don't think I have to add anymore, but I think I still have to keep the 15kg utill I don't finish in the top 5.
What do think fresh?

I changed it to top 3 because not enough people were winning. So just the podium finishers get ballast added. It wouldn't make sense to get rid of it when you don't podium if you finish in the top 5. Basically if you add ballast to the top 5, everyone would be running it and it'd never deplete. Maybe I forgot to post that in the OP.

I hope we'll have more interest in GTS class. If not, then CND you can run a GT1. So pick up which car you want to use. Since you're a wheel user, I think the McLaren would be a good choice.

The only one I have is the CLK

You can borrow mine, cnd. I'm relinquishing my position as a permanent GT1 to hopefully be a reserve GTS driver.

I won't make all the races, but I would like to have a little tinker with the GTS cars since I have most of them, possibly all of them.

CND, you don't have to drop GTS, Redpartyhat is still active with the Jaguar. I'll put you down as reserve in the same car Storm.

Probably not Jake. I'll drop everyone's worst result at the end of the season for points. But do try to make it, as it's Spa and that's an 'endurance' round worth double points.

Just a reminder for everyone befor they enter the race room. Make sure anything that might lag your connection is off, reset your PS and clear your cache.
Lets have a great race at Spa. Hope everyone makes it. :)

I hope everyone makes it as well. Well, at least I hope we have a few more than the 8 people that showed up at Nurburgring. Remember that the tire options are open. As long as you meet the 18 lap minimum on medium tires with a minimum of 6 laps per stint. So take as much time on mediums as you want, just make sure they're 6 lap stints at least. Or do your whole stint on 18 laps (if you can), or two 9 lap stints. Room will open at or around 7pm eastern.

If red party hat or anyone else isn't there then I will not compete as well. I am not really interested in changing classes mid season. I don't want to affect the points race in GT1. If I can get 3 other people to compete against me then I will continue to race.

Red is expected to be there tonight. I'm waiting on TDZ to give me a shout back. Looks like he's been off for a while though.

Well Red is no longer apart of the series. Sighting people who race here as a reason as well as other series interests. So CND I implore you to switch to GT1 class from this race forward. I need the entries. If you are able to win this race you'd be sitting with 50 points, which is more than Storm pacer has with 3 races. The season is still young, and we have 7 rounds left including tonight. It's not too late to stage a challenge. Even if you don't 'win out'. I think you'd do well in the F1. It's my series, so what I say goes. That means if I decide to allow 4 cars per GT1 team, so be it.
