90s LeMans W.C./ Season 1 complete!

Well Red is no longer apart of the series. Sighting people who race here as a reason as well as other series interests. So CND I implore you to switch to GT1 class from this race forward. I need the entries. If you are able to win this race you'd be sitting with 50 points, which is more than Storm pacer has with 3 races. The season is still young, and we have 7 rounds left including tonight. It's not too late to stage a challenge. Even if you don't 'win out'. I think you'd do well in the F1. It's my series, so what I say goes. That means if I decide to allow 4 cars per GT1 team, so be it.

The only GT1 car I own is the CLK. I would have zero time to prepare for today. Plus I just found out that I have church tonight. I appreciate your offer. I will stay active on this thread. I liked this series a lot. If GTS interest returns then I will be more than happy to compete again. If the interest doesn't come back then I don't want the PSN reward. I don't deserve an award for the PSN if I didn't earn it. I was enjoying the series until GP/F when you had to emergency switch to GTS to avoid having me winning by default. If you let me use the CLK then I will be ready by next weeks race.

Oh thanks Seth. :(

Although technically I was on 52 points, so not quite more than me after 3 races. Also, It's still only 2 races if you think that Daytona ended up being 2 half races.

I say was, because I've already stated I'm relinquishing my GT1 position at McLaren for a reserve spot in GTS.

Yes, the room is open. McLaren specs will be back to 'normal' (550hp/950kg)

Cnd I hear you. But you can always apply a basic tune to the car and run fast out the box. It's not hard to get these cars right. Especially at Spa, which is a pretty straight forward track.

Count me out tonight. I will have a CLK prepared assuming no new GTS competition next week.

This is pathetic. I hate how people join then quit. What's the point in signing up if people just drop out? Just sad... anyway, the room is up for those who will be racing tonight.

I agree. I just watched a field of 4 or 5 GTS cars evaporate in like 2 weeks. What happened?

You have competition in GTS tonight in the form of Storm. And you were right Storm, I'm just making a point that the points battle is still wide open. Look what happened to me from missing one race! Now I'm in 2nd (albeit by 1 point) after winning every round besides one of the double races at Daytona.

Since Storm has officially switched to GTS class, he'll carry over his points total from his time in the McLaren to his new team in the Jaguar.

So what you mean is that Shin takes 2nd at Nurburgring and he doesn't have to add ballast for Spa? What kind of junk is that. What happened to if a person podiums they get added ballast to their car for the next race. Don't understand why no ballast wasn't added to Shins car.

Shin had ballast. I said the McLaren's specs, not shin's specs. If he didn't run ballast he knowingly cheated, or didn't understand that the BASE specs of the McLaren were back to 'normal'. Please keep comments like that to a minimum. I understand if you're frustrated thinking I didn't stick to the rules, but this isn't the case.

I'm not going to be doing that for a regular basis though, Seth.

I went into work even worse than **** today. I didn't like that at all. it was 3am for me when the race ended, My sleep was broken by my mother at 6am, so I got nigh f-all good rest.

My apologies. I thought he was included in this when you said the McLaren's spec's. :)

I promise you guys I ran my designated ballast. I have no intention of cheating. I also ran at 550hp also.

Storm, the races have been starting later for obvious reasons like lag, and disconnections, also people joining late. Anyway, next race everyone knows the track, I'll have weather change, but it will be at 0% with 1 changeability. And qualifying will start as soon as we have most of the participants in the room. So usually around 7:30pm eastern. And race will start a little after 8pm eastern.

I know, I'm not asking you to start earlier or anything, its a decent time.

I think where I'm in a different timezone and I'm working in the mornings on Tuesdays, I'll inevitably sleep through my alarm and miss work where for me it'll be a 2-3am finish. Hence why I asked to be a reserve.

I'm curious as to whether calum ran at 550hp or not. 2:04.990 is pretty insane at 550hp.

Seth, are we skipping Monza?

Why would we skip Monza? I forgot that round was next. Kinda got ahead of myself! Unless we want to run Monza as the 2nd next race (which is what I'm thinking).

Started with 550hp, however 2:04.990 was done with closer to 530hp which is what I finished with!
If you'd like add me on PSN and I'll show you...

:yuck:

The drop in power is only affected after the race I think. Still a great time in any regard. I'll have the results up on the first page in a few minutes.

So long as no 4 wheels on green (consistently) you're within the rules on corner cutting. The red and white are curbing and considered a part of the track. Two wheels at least on that is the rules.

It's changed, were going to Monza. No back to back endurance races. Also, the ruling on the curbing is the same. Red and white curbing is considered a part of the track. Two wheels on track at all time. No 4 wheels on the green and you're ok!
